House had broke appliances, not clean | Avoid Using Booking.com - customer service not good

The location itself was nice. Having access to the pool and amenities at Wapato Point is a plus.

The house itself was okay. It wasn't cleaned before we got there. We spent our first night cleaning an had to wash all the bedding that were still on the floor in the rooms from the previous group to feel comfortable enough to sleep that night. The washing machine didn't work well and we had to keep restarting it. The dishwasher didn't work either. The cleaning crew came the next day but the bad impression had already been made. Booking.com customer service is not good. Our original booking was double booked. I had to wait on hold for over an hour to try and figure out what our options were and they weren't helpful. One customer service rep hung up on us so we had to call back and wait again on hold.

Nice place for a vacation rental, has a few items that need attention but can easily be corrected

The location and views are both outstanding. It was easy to get to and a comfortable place to enjoy the lake and the grounds at Wapato Point.

The lock box was difficult. There were NO closets that weren't locked. The toilet in the main bath has a loose hinge. A number of power outlets didn't work. The second shower has mildew on the curtain. These are all correctable without a lot of expense or effort. and would make this an even better spot Also, the large picture windows have no shades or curtains which leaves the main rooms open.
