The location was good.
The first night was very cold . The bed had not been aired there was no hot water bottle so I could not warm the bed up before I got in. I think I was the first person to stay in the house this year.

Great location in a very friendly and beautiful Devon village. It felt like home from home and had all that you could wish for. Nice touches of milk and orange juice in fridge on arrival. I enjoyed the cream tea which was in the kitchen ready for our arrival along with a slice of Xmas cake. Festive decorations in the lounge were a nice touch.
Having to open the window when showering. Also the positioing of the toilet roll upstairs could be improved. Maybe a free standing loo roll holder would solve the problem.

Loved Hilltop, such a gorgeous cottage with everything we could need for a stay. The beds were super comfy! Loved the village and close by amenities.
I wish it was dog friendly and then we would definitely be back.
