Rural holiday home Stankolina Opatija

Die Lage.

Pool zu klein, nicht wirklich ein Pool. Wasser geht bis zum Bauchnabel. Grundstück nur Steine, leider keinen Rasen. Am Abend kam meist immer ein ekliger Geruch im Haus. Töpfe und Pfannen sind zu groß für den Herd. Kaffeemaschine ist eine Kapselmaschine. Es gibt keinen Föhn.

The coffee maker didn’t work correctly.

Everything was just perfect! If you look for a really calm place you should not miss Neda's stylish stone house. Fully equipped, 15 minutes drive to sea side, 10 minutes to supermarkets, 20 minutes to Rijeka or Opatija. We had a wonderful stay there. 100% recommended!

Very friendly welcoming owner, took us around the property when we arrived left us a little booklet with helpful info on, the inside of the property was clean and tidy and with netflix it was good in the evening when you returned from a day out.

The pictures on booking.com of the house are not a true representation of the property, it makes it look like its more alone with a good garden but on arrival you see the house is totally surrounded on all sides by others and when you are in the garden you can be seen from everyone elses houses no privacy at all, the house is not equipt that well in the kitchen area oven trays cutlery that sort of thing. It said bbq facilities but later on the day we arrived we went to have a bbq but there wasnt one, next moring we woke to find one had been left outside over night sometime, the property has a washing machine & pegs but there was no drying rack, we went out and got a line ourselves from the shop then later that day outside again was left a drying rack, it just seemed it was a bit disorganised, on arrival the internet was not working the owner apologised said she would go talk to her son as he knew more but she never returned with an answer luckily our sons who are more clued up got it working. But the worst part was that when you show the water is more than hot but it floods the whole bathroom, the water does not run towards the drain in the shower the floor isnt sloping the correct way so every part of the floor is under water by the time your 5 min shower is over, then the only way to clear it up is to get a cloth and soak it up very slow process.
