Taking your family to Dauphin Island, AL means there’s history to explore, birds to see, easy access to plenty of unique restaurants, 18 hole golf course, fishing spots, fishing charters, boat slips, boat storage, and more family fun activities on the island.
Only 35 minutes to Mobile, AL where’s there’s even more to explore and enjoy.

Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
No Boats, RV, Campers or trailers of any type are allow on property

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). We had a fantastic stay at this Dauphin Island beach house! The home was clean and comfortable with easy-to-maintain floors—perfect for kids after beach days. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the ice machine was a great bonus for filling coolers. Beds were comfy, showers had great water pressure, and the cozy couches made evenings together so relaxing.
The location was amazing—just steps from the beach, making it easy to run back for snacks or restrooms. We loved the quiet gated community, enjoyed the community pool, and appreciated the outdoor shower and hoses for rinsing off sand. The WiFi was helpful since cell service can be spotty in the area.
A few small things to note: the deck walk has some loose boards, and the neighbor’s three King Charles spaniels dogs can be loud and extra yappy, but neither affected our overall experience. A boardwalk closer to the beach would be a nice addition for hauling wagons with kids.
Overall, it’s a wonderful beach getaway and we’d definitely return!

We’ve stayed at Desoto Landing several years now but this was by far our favorite loved having beach access right from the porch. The shuffle board was a bit hit for us. Will definitely be booking here again.

The house was great. Location was amazing with the beach right outside. Plenty of room for all 5 of us.

We get there at 4pm to check in and the lock box is open with no key. Called multiple numbers for Vacasa and everyone we reached was on the west coast. They were having a hard time trying to reach someone local too. Finally, at 6:15pm a woman showed up with the key and tried to pass blame on us. Next time own up that you made a mistake.
Once we were in the house everything went great and everyone had a great time.
