About this villa rental
Our summer cottage is located in Buckow in the Märkische Schweiz. It was built in 1904 by a shoe manufacturer from Berlin, has a small garden with a large, sunny veranda and from the balcony a beautiful view of the Schermützelsee.
The house is over 100 years old and renovated with much love and charm. There are 3 bedrooms (1 double and a children's room for a maximum of 2 children upstairs, 1 double in the basement) and 2 bathrooms each with toilet and bath. Fireplace, garden with table tennis and large, sunny veranda.
The whole house including fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher (living area about 140sqm) and the garden (about 600sqm) is available to the guests for sole use.
The neighborhood
- Beautiful walks or bike rides around the lake and in the nature park.
- The former Bertolt-Brecht summer house with museum is a 3-minute walk away.
- There is a cinema in Buckow, several delicious restaurants, supermarket, organic market and very important in summer the beach and Billies boat dock with rowboat rental. The center is only a few minutes walk.
Location & Arrival:
By car about 1 hour from Berlin Mitte.
S-Bahn or Regional train to Strausberg or Müncheberg. From Müncheberg by bus or taxi about 10 minutes. Taxi from Müncheberg costs about 15 €.
