About this house rental

1 Bedroom with loft stand-alone carriage house apartment. Full amenities with wood burning fireplace, full bathroom, open kitchen and living room area with walkout 2nd floor balcony. Cental air conditioning. Private driveway parking with private residence entrance. Small Loft area for additional guests. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Historic German Village in downtown Columbus and Schiller Park. 10-15 minute drive to OSU, Convention Center, Short North and Easton Town Center areas. Bus stop 1 block from the property drops off at Ohio Stadium on football game days.

This property is ideal for 28 day minimum rentals with discounts for longer-term contracts. Also, there’s the possibility for the driveway and a single garage space for longer-term rentals. Past tenants include neighbors’ visiting family, corporate WFA temporary housing, corporate relocation or other visitors to historic German Village!

This property is delightful! Hardwood floors, fireplace, walk in closet, full kitchen, huge comfy couch and nice TV. Best of all, a charming, private upstairs patio. Close to the park, too. I'm still in the carriage house, and I'd extend my stay if it were available!

This property became my second home for almost 6 months. It was quite beautiful and central to everything. We were walking distance from some of the finest restaurants in German Village, the lovely Schiller Park and many other German Village attractions. I was completing work at NCH nearby, so it was also very convenient for work. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning to stay for a short or extended stay. Really enjoyed our 10 day visit to Columbus staying in this darling carriage house in German Village. Great location close to beautiful Schiller Park and within walking distance of all great restaurants, shops and the Brewery district. A short walk to catch the free C-bus that does loops with stops every 10 min going north and south on High St from German Village/Brewery District, through Arena District, North Market, Short North and up to Victorian Village. Can't say enough good things about the owner, Jeff, who was excellent to communicate with and very attentive without being intrusive. Had an AC motor die due to unusual heat wave second day there and spent a very uncomfortable night before busy repair man could get there and the owner refunded us for that night. Overall a great, convenient and fun place to stay in beautiful history-rich German Village.

The place was clean, comfortable, well stocked and perfectly located. From this house we could walk anywhere in German Village. We met Jeff and he walked us through the intricacies of the remote controls then left us be. We'll be back.
