Jonquil Motel

We liked this original roadside motel from the 1900's, which has been kept in pristine condition. The bungalow-style rooms were also quaint and charming. There was an area in the back of the property to sit, walk around and enjoy.

The material of the towels was rough and uncomfortable to use and there was not any Kleenex at all The trash cans were tiny and there wasn't anyone at the front desk to speak with regarding any of the issues that came up, or just for general questions.

The lady who checked us in was most helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious and very inviting. The courtyard and backyard was very cute

Bed was a little to high to get in easily

Clean, charming classic motel. Everything worked great. Easy parking.

Mosquitos outside in the backyard.

Nice location.

When we arrived at the property the Office was closed, despite the fact that the sign stated that they were open. We did not know which room was ours, and didn't know how to access the room. We could not check our emails due to a computer hack, so we tried to contact the owners on the telephone (twice) and they did NOT get (and still have not gotten) back to us. Thanks to a helpful fellow guest, we were able to figure out how to get into our room. The owners left us high and dry and that's unacceptable!
