Ten minutes from the house is the town of Benalup, where you will find shops and restaurants that cater to all your basic needs. It is also very close to the white villages of Vejer, Conil and Medina Sidonia; Jerez de Jerez and the fortress city of Gibraltar, both vibrant historic cities with international airports, are less than an hour away by car, while Seville and Malaga are an hour and 45 minutes away.
The guard and his wife live on the property, at a discreet distance. They can be available to help in the kitchen or with cleaning, if desired.

Very much as advertised - remote but beautiful. Functional rather than comfy. But a lovely place to stay. BBQ was very basic and on its last legs. Beds were not comfortable on the whole. But everything worked and the handyman was very helpful.

La estancia ha sido increíble, el alojamiento es perfecto para desconectar con familia y/o amigos. Cuenta con toda clase de comodidades y estaba en perfectas condiciones, no faltaba de nada. A destacar el jardín y piscina con vistas increíbles y el trato exquisito tanto de Juan Manuel como el de Javier, que están siempre atentos y disponibles ante cualquier necesidad que pueda surgir. Sin duda volveremos.

If you want rural peace, quiet and privacy, this is the place. Easy access from Jerez, Seville, Gib or Malaga airports. The house is located about a mile up a wonderful bumpy track off the quiet main road, and although is off-grid, the house has wifi. Lovely welcome pack. House appliances - fully equipped and two fridges, great for water, wine and beers.Plenty of space inside and out, lovely pool and outdoor eating areas and the views are incredible, over the lake and back up to the hills. Perfect spot for 3 families or several couples. Shopping and fuel in Benalup 10 minutes away, or a huge Carrefour back towards Los Barrios (35 minutes) but the two bar/restaurant/shops, 200 yards left in a small hamlet, back on the main road, have all the basics. Had a memorable meal at one - the Casa de Carne, and friendly owners. They will do breakfast, lunch and tapas too upon request.Carlos the caretaker/gamekeeper/gardener/pool man was discreet and reassuring. JM was a great host, easy to deal with and very kind. We will be back!
