Very nice large room. We love being at the side of the water. Plenty of free parking at the side of the boat. The location was fantastic being only a short stroll from the centre of Dole. Hosts were friendly and breakfast was a high quality. I want to stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Room bigger than expected with comfortable bed and good quiet air conditioning. The shower had good hot water and pressure. We were able to store our bicycles under an awning, out of the rain, on deck. The hosts welcomed us and explained how everything worked then let us have our privacy and we felt quite at home. Easy to find and good location close to town. The deck area had a separate outdoor seating and small table for guests to use. A really good idea was a big fridge with drinks that guests could purchase for a very reasonable cost (cash needed). We even got to use a bit of fridge space for some groceries we had with us. Breakfast was laid out for us at an agreed time, and there was plenty of variety and more than enough to choose from. Reasonably good Wi-Fi.

No outlook from the room; just a little porthole, but this made the room very private. The upstairs area is being renovated by the owner and there is a small amount of construction noise at times.

The location was perfect for walking into Dole.An excellent breakfast was included. The hot water shower and all bedroom facilities exceeded expectations.

Sarah was such a thoughtful host; she clearly cares so much that her guests have a wonderful experience. Delicious food and an incredible price, and beautiful setting on the river.

We stayed there 3 years ago and find the location perfect. An easy walk to the lovely old down for dinner and in the morning fir sightseeing before continuing with our ski holiday.

Unexpectedly delicious continental breakfast with super coffee etc., This is the perfect stopover on the way from Calais to the mountains. This was our second stay in Dole and first on the boat, we will be back. A short walk to the delightful centre of the Medieval town with great restaurants. We both feel we could stay longer to explore the area more.

Wonderful room with beautiful decorations. The bed is comfortable and there is a nice shower. Very nice breakfast with local cheese. Short walk to Dole for restaurants and sightseeing. The hosts are nice and accommodating.

The boat was located perfectly for walking into Dole. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We slept really well and in the morning breakfast was served in a lovely room. Breakfast was great - far more than we could eat. Excellent value for money - we would definitely go back.

A unique stay with excellent facilities and superb dinner/breakfast. We couldn‘t have wished for more. The barge was in a quiet location on the canal, yet close to the sights of Dole.

À clear 10 out of 10. It’s a boat so expect a boat; free parking, very quiet and walking distance to the city center of Dole. The owners, a French family with two kids welcome you with open arms. Great breakfast and if you want they also offer a dinner.

This was a really unique place to stay, it's peaceful and pretty location only a few minis walk away from an interesting and historic town. Our room was so spacious and comfortable, you'd hardly believe you were on a boat. The breakfast was very generous and served in an amazing dining room, with delightful and surprisingly eclectic decor. A great place to stay and we would definitely book again.
