Location was good for me, close to a bank, shop, coffee shops, taxi stand, close enough to walk up to the castle and the museum. The house itself very big , authentic djerban I assume, nice courtyard with furniture.

Unfortunately in the neighbourhood there were dogs barking at night interupting sleep. I was aware of it as a previous review mentioned this, was hoping for it to have been resolved . Internet wasn't working..."connecting without internet " it said on my phone.

Wifi didnt work and no signal inside property

We had the entire house to ourselves as they only rent out the “one” room. Room was large with large separate bathroom. Nice decor; very clean and comfortable. Host provided great tips on places to eat in the souk.

Was a little difficult finding the house as there are no house numbers. Google Maps and maps.me get you very close. Look for the blue door between two other attached houses.

Nice house overall really beautiful inside. Great details and well curated. The bedroom is the best part of the house. When I communicated my wish to stay only one night they were kind to accomodate us.

Although it is a 10min walk from the medina,the location isn't the best. The toilette seat was broken and in the shower gets clogged. Outside and around the house is very dirty. You need to drive into a little road without asphalt and no illumination. To walk to the center you literally need to walk in dirty hallways near the house in which there is garbage and litter everywhere. (Pics are attached). I hope they will clean the surrounding. I originally booked two nights but we decided to stay only one night due to the location and because we needed wifi but the house doesn't provide it (although it was my mistake when I booked cause they wrote wifi isn't available)
