Casa S. Orsola

We stayed in these apartments from May 13 to May 27. The total cost worked out to approximately €100 per night. Pros: 1. Quiet location with birds singing in the morning, and we could hardly hear the neighbors. 2. Two separate sleeping areas in different rooms. I was traveling with my daughter, so this was very important for us. 3. When it is hot outside, the apartment stays pleasantly cool. 4. The water heater works well, and there were no issues with hot water availability. 5. The historic city center is about a 15–20 minute walk away via a pleasant route. Giardini Margherita can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot, and the train station in around 25 minutes.

Cons: 1. The apartment is somewhat dated and cleaning could be improved. The floors were dirty upon arrival. 2. The shower cabin is very small, and the drainage in the shower is poor. 3. The apartment tends to be quite cold. If the outdoor temperature is below 20°C, it can feel genuinely chilly inside. 4. The cookware (pots and pans) is old and heavily worn. 5. The pillows are uncomfortable and feel as if they are stuffed with cotton wool.
