Nice place, could be cleaner, and would really benefit from hosts providing towels and bed sheets.

The hosts should provide towels and bed sheets free of charge. BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS AND BED SHEETS. We (3 people) were charged 21 Euros extra for bed sheets for one night, which was a real damper for the one night we stayed. The owner even told us, normally they call to inform guests of this, but didn't call us before our booking had been short notice.

Pre history, walking and swimming in spectacular natural environments.

The chateau is a secure and wonderful place to stay and the flat has most of what it needs. It is cool, attractive and self-contained. Salavas is a beautiful quiet village with lots of character, away from the intense tourist venue which is Vallon Pont d'Arc. It is very close to the Pont d'Arc and the Chauvet cave.. and enpought

The bed is hard and the pillows are very uncomfortable. I think a self catering accommodation should provide, at minimum, some toilet roll and washing up liquid and enough bin liners to dispose of all refuse.

Cool room in a castle-like building

Friendly host. Spacey room on the ground floor with massive stone walls which make for a cool room temperature. I assume this is can be an advantage during summer but in April we had to use the electric heating. We could park our car in the courtyard.

There is no door bell. The gate to the courtyard has a code lock but the host missed to tell us and give us the code in advance. Standing in front of the huge locked gate we had to contact the host by phone. There is no Wifi. Some pots didn't have a matching lid and the typical french coffee bowls were missing. The floor was somewhat dusty.

propreté ... état assez sale de l'ensemble des pièces, salle d'eau, salle de bain et chambres. Nous avons du nettoyer dès notre arrivée.

de locatie was perfect en het chateau is heel mooi opgeknapt en er zijn zeer ruime kamers . Die van ons was woonkamer keuken baskamer ket bedbank en een kleien kamer met een stapelbed de kamer was mooi maar geen balkon of tuindeur maar er zin betere kamers iin dit chateau

het matras van de bedbank is niet goed voor mensen boven de 80 kg (te zacht en geen ondersteuning)

TRES DECU

Ce gite, situé dans ce petit village médiéval, a été très bien rénové. Il est magnifique. L'emplacement est bien, proche de divers commerces.

La propreté des lieux... impardonnable, le ménage n'a pas été fait. Toiles d'araignée de partout, les sanitaires très sales (douche, miroirs, toilette...) C'est bien dommage ca ne donne pas envie de revenir ni de conseiller ce gite. Pour le prix ni les draps, ni serviette il faut payer en plus.

Le charme des voûtes en pierres est vite estompé par le côté sombre du logement : seulement 2 petites fenêtres perchées en hauteur et inaccessibles. Sentiment d'oppression pas top....

Tout. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis, avec le sourire. L'appartement était bien équipé, nous étions comme à la maison. Vous êtes proches de beaucoup de choses. Le village est superbe. Nous sommes repartis très contents de notre semaine.
