Chilmark Vista and Lucy Vincent Beach

Enter our vacation world up a 0.2 mile paved driveway through the woods to the private hilltop with only two other houses. Open the gate and delight at the expanse of ocean view from the deck over oak trees - our 3 1/2 acres adjacent to a sanctuary seem like 100. Listen to the birds and the surf from the hammock or rocking chairs on the covered porch.

Come into the 2 story central room flanked by two tables, a soaring brick fireplace with a woodstove and a reading nook in the back corner. Look into the kitchen fully equipped - a really large fridge - with a washer and dryer toward the back door. Pick the herbs growing out the door in a window box. We also like to leave condiments so you can start cooking!

Turn left to the wing with the master bedroom (Queen bed), the second bedroom (Queen bed) and the charming single (Twin bed) - all open to the deck and ocean view.

Two nice bathrooms, one with a stall shower, another with a tub. Great water pressure and lots of hot water from new, high volume, private well - outside shower too.

Up the stairs to 2 loft bedrooms with cherry platform beds (Full beds) plus closets. All beds are firm with reading lights. Clock radios in each room.

The thick honeyed pine walls make the cottage amazingly quiet. We find the quality of sleep to be exceptionally good!

Hot outdoor shower to rinse off your sandy toes! Gas grill ready to use. Porch is both covered and open along the South facing ocean view side of house.

Lucy Vincent Beach, Great Rock Bight, Menemsha, Chilmark Community Center, Chilmark Library, Chilmark General Store, The Yard Performance Center all within a 5 minute drive!
