About this apartment rental

The Blue Room is a “hotel style” studio with a private bathroom and covered lanai. Included are a comfy queen bed, wireless, smart t.v., coffee maker and mini fridge. There are no cooking or laundry facilities. Close to restaurants, shops, resorts and beaches. Walking distance to the Westin, Hanalei Bay Resort and The One Hotel. Cool and airy inside with plenty of mature lush landscape. The perfect getaway for island explorers. After a full day of activities, return to take a soak in the jacuzzi or a dip in the pool. You're just a short drive away from golf, horse-back riding, surf lessons, scuba diving, zip lining, etc. Walk along the Princeville path to see the sunset or visit a resort for a cocktail. Sandpiper was one of the first condominiums built in Princeville and many local families reside there; working, going to school, raising kids. The studio is also below and beside other vacation rentals. It’s a busy neighborhood with people coming and going at all times. Visitors who stay will experience true island living.

Was perfect place to come back to every night. GREAT neighborhoos- every single night I walked 15 min to an AMAZING SUNSET that seems like everyone flocks to: go down ka haku, take a right on the trail at golf course and just follow the sunset! every single night. perfection.

We had a fantastic stay here! Janet was very responsive and helpful for whatever we needed. The room itself was perfect as we were out and about all day so the smaller size was not an issue, and actually felt quite comfortable for 2 people over 8 nights. It comes with the basic necessities and we were even able to grill one night and eat on the balcony. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend for any couple wanting a cost efficient stay and are not in need of lots of space.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Check-in was quick and easy, and the space was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The neighborhood was peaceful with quiet neighbors, which made for a relaxing trip. It was also the perfect location—just a short drive to both Hanalei and Princeville.The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This Studio was the perfect stay upon my initial arrival to Kauai - it was just me the first three nights so I didn’t need much. It has a small fridge, for leftovers from many of the nearby great restaurants, walk in shower, covered lanai to sit and listen to the rain and watch the chickens walk across the common area - this property also has a pool and hot tub!

My husband & I really enjoyed our stay. Location of the property was great & just a short drive from the places we wanted to see. The Host reached out on our arrival day to make sure we were able to enter VRBO with no problems, since I had not had a chance to respond to emails. We appreciated her effort to do this. I was concerned that there was not going to be air conditioning in the unit, but it was not a problem in early May. We did fine with the ceiling fan. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to the area.

Great location for an affordable stay. If you are going to be out and about all day this is the place to stay. Pretty disappointing with how many cockroaches were in the studio other than that it is a wonderful place to stay.

Janet’s place was as described and more: clean, cozy, equipped with amenities for a home-like stay. This is a studio-style unit with a very comfy bed, cute lanai, small fridge. It is a most apropos unit for a single traveler or 2 if your intention is to rest, shower, and be up and at it to explore all the cool beaches Princeville and north Kaua’i have to offer. Janet was immediately responsive and clear in her instructions, much appreciated. Thank you, Janet, for your hospitality. We look forward to staying at your place the next time we’re on the Garden Isle.

Lovely and quaint little apartment. Lots of thoughtful amenities: coffee maker, small fridge, TV. I was worried about no AC, but the ceiling fan and open windows was plenty cool. Pool, hot tub, and grills were added bonuses. Janet was exceptionally helpful.

This place was awesome - nice area, well furnished, everything you needed. It really is a great spot for all travelers. I would recommend it to a friend who was travelling to Kauai. Also the owner was fantastic! Her communication was top tier and she really wanted to make sure you had a great stay.

This was a cute little unit that met our needs. Had a small issue with the lockbox, but that was me not the lockbox. Under bed had a small dust bunny collection and ice box in fridge was quite iced up, probably due to the heat. Other than that, the unit was in good condition and Janet provided ample towels for our stay. A pleasant area of the island. Overall, enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Janet to rent from for your stay in paradise

The place was good for a short time stay. Parking was quite challenging, there is no designated parking spot and after 6pm there was almost no spot. The building is quite old and washrooms do not have great ventilations. Overall it was a good experience and I do recommend it to others.

great stay at this condo in Princeville. Well located with easy access to the north shore, and well equipped as indicated in listing with addition of beach/snorkelling gear for renters’ use. As noted in listing, there is no AC though we found this wasn’t a huge issue given the fans and air flow in unit

Nice and simple with everything needed. Easy access and location is great. It’s really all you need for two to reset and relax at the end of each day. When you understand Kauai and spending most all the time exploring beaches etc, you just need a place like this providing everything at an affordable price. Stayed for 3 nights with my husband for our honeymoon. Great place with nice little patio. Found parking pretty easily each time in the lot. Everything was clean, lots of towels and provided toiletries.

Perfect location, parking was an issue, neighbors were a bit loud at 2am, but that can’t be helped or controlled. Place needs to be fixed up from water damage. Maybe add a fan for bathroom as it was pretty hot getting ready. A fresh paint job could help. Bugs came in the windows. Neighborhood was beautiful.

The location was amazing with a peaceful neighborhood. The room was spacious and equipped with all the beach supplies. Plenty of towels and basic kitchen essentials to make coffee/heat food. I would highly recommend this place for a perfect getaway. Note that it rains frequently in Princeville and restaurant options are little pricey.
