About this cabin rental
If peace, solitude and splendid relaxation is what you yearn for, this is the place! Riverside Retreat is a gorgeous cabin located in Stonewall, TX an easy 14 mile drive from Fredericksburg. This stunning 2 bedroom 2.5 bath cabin is situated along the Pedernales River and has all the comforts of home; including a full kitchen, 3 TVs (50" in living room, 40" in bedrooms) satellite channels and WiFi. The downstairs master bedroom features a king size bed and en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom upstairs also has a King size bed, and en-suite bath with a tub/shower combo. The upstairs loft offers a comfortable futon that sleeps 2, (please note upstairs loft is only accessible through bedroom). Plenty of room for a group of up to 6! Riverside Retreat's remote location, access to the waterfront, comfortable accommodations along with proximity to conveniences provide a unique experience - a little piece of "Heaven on Earth!"
Please Note: Firewood is not provided, Spa is serviced on Tuesdays and Lawn is serviced on Wednesdays
Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC) Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will not be visible.

This was our second stay at Riverside Retreat! Everything is just perfect! Not a single detail has been overlooked! Every amenity you could possibly need is provided! The home is spotless & I have never stayed anywhere with such a wonderful kitchen that has anything you would need! Parking is easy, there is so much privacy & the grounds of the home are just beautiful! We had coffee every morning on the screened in porch, watching so many birds! Thank you! We can't wait to return!

Perfect for a weekend getaway. That back porch sitting was the best, screened in with no worry of bugs. The view of the river and the quietness was so relaxing. Only 13 minutes to Fredericksburg.

Host communicated well & in a very timely manner! We the access to the lake and the views!! The hot tub was perfect. The patio was perfect. The kids loved fishing and canoeing. It also came with a fire pit, which we were not able to use just because of the burn ban at the moment, but that was not a problem.I loved how it has a nice pier and they offered floats and canoes fishing poles. We literally didn’t have to bring much. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. The beds were comfortable. Showers were clean! We were only 10 minutes away from town. We will definitely be back it’s the perfect location!
