About this house rental
The Casa Catharina (IT008030C2MR3HKMOX) is a holiday home that was created from an old olive mill. It is on the outskirts of Dolcedo, Liguria. Dolcedo is a beautiful village on the Italian Riviera, not far from the cities of Imperia, Sanremo, Alassio and the French border (Nice, Monaco, Menton). You can walk to baker / grocery stores, pizzerias, a very delicate ristorante, pharmacy, bar, etc. (up to max. 400m away) via very nice footpaths of the medieval village center. The sea is about 8km away.
The Casa Catharina is an upscale holiday home for up to 4 adults (+ toddlers).

The rooms are spacious and openly designed with arches. The living room has a ceiling up to a height of 6 meters. The terrace offers a sweeping view over the Prino valley.
Casa Catharina can be booked weekly (Sat-Sat). It offers chairs and a bed for small children, but the bridge in the living room and the relative depth of the terrace wall must be considered. Please do not leave children unattended on the terrace.

We had a wonderful stay in Dolcedo. The house was perfect, keeping us cool despite the hot August weather, comfortable beds, a beautiful little terrace, and well furrnished. We thoroughly enjoyed the village and surroundings. Patrick was quick to answer any questions and check in and check out was very smooth. Thanks!

The house is nicely located in the little hamlet of San Martino in Dolcedo. and Dolcedo itself is a lovely place to visit for a stroll and its restaurants.. The house is modern, spacious and well equipped. For a family with toddlers, you may be mindful of the many (open) stairs. Patrick the host is quick and clear in its communication. We enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Catharina. The river and mountain views from the backyard area are really stunning. The house is beautifully renovated and fully equipped. The kitchen was especially impressive: great stove, good pots, Nespresso machine: everything you could want. We visited as a couple, so used only the downstairs bedroom: the bed was very comfortable. The house, with its thick walls, is perfectly quiet. There are some great running paths into the hills above, leaving directly from the house. Anna, who manages the property for Patrick Kuckertz the owner, was great: helpful and pleasant. (Her English is great also.) Patrick was also great to deal with on email, and everything went smoothly on payments and deposits. We did most of our grocery shopping at the Co-op in Imperia, which is not the closest grocery store but which has a great selection (especially if you like to buy organic). We did have some problems with the internet connection while we were there--we couldnt get on after the first couple of days. We loved our stay and can highly recommend this property and area.
