We’ve stayed in this beautiful cottage multiple times and every time it’s perfect. The place has everything you need, it’s spotless, and Peggy goes the extra step with fresh cut flowers and a plate of cookies to greet you on arrival. Always a 5 star experience!

The Hosts have created a warm and welcoming retreat for guests. The cozy Cottage has all of the touches of home that we appreciate so much when traveling. It is well appointed with heated bathroom floors and towel bars, high speed internet, a well stocked kitchen, throws on the sofa and bed, and more. The king sized bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows for sleeping or propping. The hosts were available and helpful and even connected us with a realtor couple who spent half a day showing us around the island. I whole heartedly recommend staying at The Cottage the next time you’re on Bainbridge Island!

The location is fantastic. Driveway is lined with ferns and mature trees. The guest house is impeccable, everything has been thought of. It's an instant home away from home. Very well appointed kitchen, good quality linens and towels, very tastefully selected furniture and art.

We stayed at Joh & Peggy's guest cottage on Bainbridge Island for 5 nights in early October 2022 while we visited Seattle and the surrounding area. What a lovely place! The pictures on VRBO don't lie - it is exactly as described - just beautiful. Cozy, warm, quiet, and comfortable.. the hosts thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We loved that the cottage was tucked away from the main road and looked forward to driving down the private, tree-lined path each evening when we returned. The location is very near the Seattle ferry, as well as local shops, grocery store, and restaurants, which was convenient, but far enough away to escape the congestion. I made full use of the kitchen while we were there and found it to be well-appointed for each meal I made. The outdoor deck is huge and has a nice view over the roof of the main house to the Puget Sound. It's also furnished with plenty of comfortable seating. Peggy & John were excellent hosts - very nice folks and friendly. They told us about First Friday Art Walk and the Moonlight Market at Town Square, which ended up being a fun night out during our stay. We will definitely recommend it to friends & family, and would love to stay there again on our next trip to the PNW.
