The Marshview Cottage is located in a beautiful, quiet setting in Cape Porpoise, Maine. It is nestled by the marsh where song birds are heard and herons are seen. Private back yard with patio/fire pit, beautiful garden area, dining table and chairs. Local restaurants, a market, church and library are located within walking distance. Beaches, shops and dining in Kennebunkport are within minutes of driving. Full kitchen. Queen bed, two single beds and sofa bed. Linens provided.

Marshview Cottage was perfect for my husband and I while staying in Cape Porpoise. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy the area and is only a five minute drive to Goose Rocks Beach and 10 minutes to downtown Kennebunkport. We found it quiet and comfortable especially the outdoor shower and the enclosed outdoor space.

Hands down our favorite rental we’ve had over the 13 years we’ve been coming to the area. Well equipped, quiet, access for paddling, and super friendly hosts and neighbors. Our 10 year old loved reading in the window seat and sleeping in the lofted bed. Our 15 year old used the sleeper sofa and said it was super comfortable. We loved spending time outside on the patio and deck. Book this stay- you will not regret it!

We always enjoy the peace and serenity of Marshview Cottage. The Hosts are terrific, and they maintain a clean, nicely furnished and beautifully decorated charming cottage. The outside garden and flowers surround a patio perfect for lounging, when not out enjoying the nearby beaches, shops and restaurants. The 2 kayaks are available for visitors to use, with only a short walk to Sampson Cove. The outdoor shower is the best!
