This was our second vacation at Playa Grande Resort and Spa and it was wonderful! We were upgraded to a King suite at The Ridge so were could use the pools and dinning there also! Thanks to the owner of the property and his tips!! We got the 3 day meal plan and then went into town for lunch/dinner on the other days. Don’t hesitate to book this property!

We have stayed at playa several times. We started out on the ridge side. Beautiful room. Great balcony and furniture however there was some sort of dog kennel near by that in the morning especially was loud and very annoying. They were able to move us the 2nd day to main building Great view of ocean. Smaller patio. I wish they would put the comfortable patio furniture on the ridge in all rooms but oh well. The view was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Do not do all inclusive so no comments on food and drink. We love the downtown and appreciate how close a walk it is from playa. Would highly recommend
