The home is outfitted with an automated smart thermostat system to keep you perfectly comfortable no matter the season, and features 3 cozy fireplaces (with one conveniently located on each level of the home) as well as expansive gathering spaces both indoors and out. Grab a fresh cup from the dedicated coffee station, step out onto one of the many sun-drenched patios, and breathe in the crisp mountain air. It is incredibly common to share your morning with local wildlife—deer, elk, foxes, and wild turkeys frequently wander through the property (along with the neighbor’s friendly dog, Rocky!).

Please be aware that access to the property involves a steep, dirt county-maintained road and a sharp street-to-driveway transition. Because of this terrain, an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) vehicle is highly recommended year-round, and low-profile cars are strongly discouraged as they may bottom out or struggle to clear the driveway access.
During the winter months, a 4-Wheel Drive (4WD) vehicle, or a Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) or All-Wheel Drive (AWD) vehicle equipped with tire chains, is absolutely necessary to safely navigate the roads and access the home. Please plan your transportation accordingly! Rest assured, to assist with winter access, we utilize a professional snow-clearing service that automatically plows the driveway anytime snow accumulation reaches 3 inches.

Great place to host multiple family gatherings. Our 3 families enjoyed the property to the max—inside & out! Close proximity to so many hiking trails, parks, etc. A highlight was seeing a bear at a neighborhood property. Far enough away to make this an EXCITING event for them!

Was the perfect size for our large family. Great location for the attraction we wanted to see and do in the Manitou Springs/ Colorado Springs area. Road up to resident and driveway alittle challenging but we DID it. Concerned about no central air but don’t worry cools off every night. Wouldn’t HESITATE to stay again if we should return to area.? Even saw a Bear in the back yard twice along with several deer, squirrels and array of birds.

The house and property are very nice and spacious. It definitely needs TLC. Things not working like gas fire place table in back, hot tub had a couple pieces come off when we turned on, broken table in bedroom, railing going upstairs the spindles fell out and screens missing in bedrooms. Driveway was horrible pulling in. End of driveway had a big trench making it difficult going up and out. None of the other driveways were like that. They were all smooth. Lastly garbage cans full when we arrived and no one got garbage for us either when it was supposed to be picked up.
