About this cottage rental
Recently renovated cottage on the sea shore is suitable for 2-4 persons. Open plan living/kitchen + one double bedroom with a super king (6ft) bed, bathroom with shower, hand basin and flush toilet. Kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, oven, induction plate and microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine and toaster. Large sofa and armchair which can be replaced with 2 extra beds in the living room can make this cottage suitable for 4 persons. Also dining table and 4 chairs. Outside the porch offers seating, private terrace with grill and table plus seating. Outside space of 1h is shared with our other one bed rental cottage (Orchard Cottage at Solhem) and the owners house. This also includes the log sauna, hot tub, beach and pier. Parking adjacent to cottage. Row boat and bicycles are included. Small summer pub (2km) in next village and soon to open restaurant in our village. Eddy our friendly dachshund and Millie-cat live on site and lots of wildlife surround and sometimes visit us…

We loved the island, the house, the sauna, the peace and quiet. Liz and Tom are wonderful hosts - very helpful when necessary, however they seem to have considered all the amenities and the cottage contains all you need for a lovely relaxing stay. We felt deeply calm and refreshed by this holiday.

We had a lovely time on the Finnish coast, enjoying the baltic sea, sauna and glorious nature.
Liz and Tom were wonderful hosts. Their beautiful cottage was charming, had character and a spacious terrace. The cottage is fully equipped and you can lounge on the terrace or at the deck on the seaside.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im gemütlichen und liebevoll renovierten Ferienhäuschen "Sailhouse". Die Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit im wunderschönen Garten mit Blick zur Ostsee haben wir sehr genossen. Liz und Tom waren stets offen für unsere Fragen und Wünsche und Eddie der junge, verspielte Rauhaardackel bereitete uns immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Wir kommen auf unserer nächsten Finnland-Reise auf jeden Fall wieder!
