Good place to stay in Athens!

Located about a 7 minute walk from Panepistimio metro station and a 25 minute walk to the Acropolis, the Solonos suite apartments were an excellent place to stay. Within a minute walk was a small Carrefour Express and opposite were two simple coffee shops which served coffee and pastries at breakfast time. A short walk along Solonos Street were several coffee shops with seating areas inside and out. I received my entry code at about 2pm for entry to the suites anytime after 3pm. Once inside another code enable me to get the electronic key to my apartment. The whole facility (a basement and three stories high) was spotlessly clean and the apartments were large and spacious. Apartment 01 in the basement had a good sized bathroom with a shower, a small area for food (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, crockery, cutlery, glasses and cups.). No breakfast was included. There was a large double bed , an easy chair, bedside tables, but no desk for working. Apartment 22 was larger with all of the above but also a table for working or eating food. My flat had a free bottle of red wine, some biscots, some bread rolls and tea bags. Milk and instant coffee would have made it even better. The flat had a hair drier, tolerable wi-fi - but it wasn't very fast,, a flat screen TV and plenty of power point sockets. There was a safe, hanging space for clothes and limited drawer space. The cleaning team were happy for me to leave my case tucked away in the lobby area until early evening when I collected it for my flight from the airport. Give yourself at least 75 minutes to reach the airport from walking out of the apartment. I paid £124 for two nights. I would stay again for a safe, clean, spacious and very modern and well equipped place to stay in Athens.

Perfection

Everything was amazing. Great location. Don't miss walking up the hill just a few blocks, followed by a small hike and some stairs to the most beautiful view point for sunrise Lycabettus Hil viewing area. Grab amazing pastries on the way back down at a fabulous KORA bakery. The fridge was stocked with delicious greek yogurt every morning. bed was comfy and bathroom was great. Laundry facilities were right across the street. they were easy to use with a credit card as we had been traveling for a few weeks. Fruit market next to the laundry was wonderful. We also walked a few blocks into town one night and ate at street souvlaki. don't skip this spot. long line was worth the wait. delicious home made pita gyros with french fries inside. I give this spot a 10plus for a visit to Athens.

One of the best places we have ever been!

We were totally shocked upon our arrival! This place truly exceeded our expectations, and we are definitely critical and demanding when it comes to the places we visit. From the moment we arrived at the location, we were pleasantly impressed by the building and its entrance. The architecture is exceptional, and everything is made only with the highest-quality materials. The interior is very impressive. The room was impeccable and extremely clean, but what shocked us the most were all the additional extras and complimentary touches, such as the complimentary bottle of wine and the high-quality cosmetics. On top of that, there were tea, coffee, sweets, cakes, butter, and everything necessary to even prepare a modest breakfast. There were even small milk portions for coffee, which showed us that the host clearly reads their guests’ comments, since we had noticed in a previous review that someone had complained about the lack of it. We found that complaint rather comical, but the host had even taken that into account! Without any hesitation, we give this place a full 10-star rating! We haven’t received such comforts even in the most expensive hotels we’ve stayed at around the world! These people truly deserve for their business to flourish at full strength!

The location is excellent. The interior was tasteful and very spacious room.

The bathroom is very very small. It is not sound proof at all constantly hearing the front door slamming. Check-out at 11:00 am is non-negotiable and my flight was at 7:30 pm. They have nowhere safe to leave your luggage. They tell you to leave it under the staircase. There is no area for getting ready where you can put your toiletries and your make-up. I had mine on the kitchen table and kept going back and forth in the bathroom when someone else was not using it.

Should I visit Athens a third time, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else

I had a fantastic experience at 33Solonos Suites and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Athens. The suite was beautifully designed — modern, clean, and very comfortable. Everything felt thoughtfully curated, from the decor to the amenities. The bed was super cozy, and I appreciated the strong Wi-Fi and smart check-in system. The location is perfect — right in the center, close to great cafes, restaurants, and shopping, yet quiet enough for a restful night. It was easy to walk or take a short ride to all the major sights. The communication with the host/team was smooth and professional, and they were quick to respond to any questions. You can tell they really care about the guest experience.

Highly recommended artistic space in Athens

We love everything about Solonos. The check-in was a breeze. The building has an art deco vibe going on and there were big mirrors that truly center that space. Inside the room, everything was very clean and maintained and had a design in mind. Bed was very comfy and the hosts even shared complimentary snacks and Nespresso pods. There was a very good coffee shop right across as well, Samba. There were supermarket, bakery and kiosks nearby too. Hotel is about 10min walk from Syntagma square but it felt safe even at night. Overall, we would book again! We love Solonos.

Location is not right in the city center but if you're like us who don't mind then it's perfect.
