Apartment with panoramic mountain and sea views

The appartment was fine on the whole, a good enough base. We did find it hard to find initially, google maps took us to the wrong destination and we couldn't contact host. We felt cleaning could have been better, the toilet was dirty on arrival If we visited Collioure again we would want to stay more central, more atmosphere. Although not an overly long walk into town it is quite steep in part on return

Perfect for a short stay in beautiful Collioure

We really enjoyed our 2 week stay. The view from the terrace of the sun rising over the Med was awesome & never got old. The apartment has a new(er) compact, modern, efficient kitchen w/ an induction hob. It is fully equipped w/ all the ustensiles, silverware, dishes, & cooking pots & pans. All reasonable new. No dishwasher. A new washing machine was installed in the bathroom while we were there. We really appreciated the air conditioning especially during the hot, sultry weather during our stay. Quiet and very capable of keeping the apartment quite comfortable. There is no wifi available in the unit although there is an Internet cafe in the village. The walk is about 15-20 minutes each way using a shortcut through the parking lot just down the street. We were able to use our mobile hotspot for internet communications. There is main road just below the terrace that gets lots of traffic. No noise when the doors are closed but noticeable when eating on the terrace. The entry is down a 180º return staircase. It is not wheelchair accessible. The apartment served as a perfect home base from which to visit Andorra, Perpignan, Narbonne, Ceret, Banyuls sur Mer, & of course Collioure. During our promenade du soir w/ our dog, we’d often go into the village for glace & people watching. The apartment is perfect for a couples getaway or family w/ 1-2 small children.

Appartement propre et bien agencé, pas très loin du centre de Collioure mais très bruyant en raison de la route qui passe en contre-bas. Pas de WIFI. Mauvais fonctionnement de la TNT. Il manque des ustensiles de cuisine : dessous de plat, passoire, casserole (il y en a qu'une). Pas de pinces à linge. Bien pour un court séjour.
