Great location, great apartment, great host and lovely area

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at this apartment in Matagorda. The facilities were top-class — the WiFi was lightning fast and the TV had all the Irish and UK channels we could want. The beds (and even the sofa beds!) were extremely comfortable, making it really easy to relax after a day out. The kitchenette had all the modern conveniences you’d need: kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave and hob — perfect for easy breakfasts and quick meals. The pool area was spotless, quiet, and a lovely place to unwind. Communication with the letting agency was excellent from start to finish. They were quick to respond to any questions we had along the way and made everything completely stress-free. Overall, you get everything here that you’d expect from any other complex, but at a fraction of the price — at least half what you’d pay elsewhere.

The A/C was substantial for a stay in Autumn/Winter, but it would not suffice for Summer, could do with another A/C unit. The sofa bed was a bit difficult to make up and revert back to a couch. The flusher button on the toilet would remain engaged from time to time, causing the toilet to constantly change water.

The location is brilliant, close to the beach and amenities.

We stayed here in march of this year and our second visit to the apartment was a little disappointing as cleanliness was not up to standard, also awful Smell from the fridge which took 2 days to subside. The toilet seat needs attention. Overall feel that the apartment needs some TLC.
