Ricordi Siciliani - Charme Rooms

Śniadanie było smaczne, donoszone na bierząco. Lokalizacja dość blisko plaży - chociaż 600m wydaje się dłuższe przy dzieciach i 35 stopniach na dworze :) Sklep bardzo blisko, z dobrym zaopatrzeniem.

Pokój nie duży, łazienka jeszcze mniejsza. Brama jest bardzo specyficzna - poproście o pokaz jak ją otworzyć (mi udało się ją zablokować calkowicie przy pierwszej próbie). Parking jest 600m od obiektu i kosztuje 10EUR/dzień Brak czajnika w pokoju i poza śniadaniem brak możliwości zrobienia kawy/herbaty.

Todo nos gustó! Desde que llegamos, abrimos la puerta del recibidor, todo tan limpio, bien decorado, el trato que nos dieron por que llegamos tarde, las facilidades, el olor a limpio, y abrir la puerta de esa habitación tan bonita… fue genial. Sentimos que fue el mejor hotel de todos

Nada absolutamente. No hay nada malo que decir, la primera vez que me pasa en un hotel que no tengo al menos una cosa mala aunque sea minúscula para que mejoren.

My recent stay at Ricordi Siciliani - Charme B&B had its ups and downs. While the room itself was quite appealing, certain aspects of the stay left much to be desired. On the positive side, the room's aesthetics were charming and inviting. The decor added a touch of Sicilian authenticity, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the design. However, this positive impression was offset by the overall experience.

The procedure of leaving the room card on the host's desk while going out was an inconvenience. This left the room without AC or functioning electrical sockets, resulting in a stifling hot room upon return. The host also turned off the AC in common areas when leaving the premises. The WiFi situation was also frustrating. The unnecessarily lengthy password, coupled with the requirement to re-enter it frequently, made using the internet a cumbersome task. I was disappointed by the host's lack of flexibility regarding check-out and luggage storage. To store the luggage at the property costs additional 10 euros per person, but the host had to leave, so we did not get this service. Despite the pleasant room, these inconveniences took away from the overall comfort of the stay. Having a kitchen in the property seemed promising, but the restriction on using cutlery or glasses was unexpected and inconvenient. One of the most disheartening aspects was the exorbitant charge of 30 euros for a baby cot (90 euros per stay). This fee felt excessive, especially when compared to similar properties that offer such amenities at no cost or a much lower fee. Also there were no towels for our daughter. We had just two sets of towels. The room was very clean, but the housekeeping lady leaves quite early, so one morning, we stayed at the room till 11.20 and it left uncleaned. Adding to the unease was the presence of cameras in all the common spaces. This gave us the impression that the host lacked trust in their guests and was focused on saving costs at every turn. In summary, the Ricordi Siciliani - Charme B&B had the potential to be a delightful stay, given the attractive room. However, the lack of flexibility, and inconveniences such as restricted kitchen usage and WiFi access detracted from the overall experience. With improvements in these areas, the B&B could become a more inviting and guest-friendly destination.
