I wouldn't stay here again

Location was great.

The room was not worth the money paid for 1 night. The room next door was smoking pot and we could smell it. THe safe wouldn't stop beeping and never used it.

The check-in process is horrible. Over 45 min. to check-in. Had to pay to get a parking spot available. It was no so clean. Did not have cutelery and dishes. You had to call the front desk which was severly understaff. The check in office is a central desk location where over 20 small motels are managed.

Overall, a good stay for two days when you’re not expecting the amenities besides the beach distance

I liked that the hotel was less than two minutes away from the beach. I also like that my room was in the corner, where it felt private.

I did not like the front desk lady she was tall I believe Spanish/Jamaican or Caribbean. She was rude. She never spoke or greeted me when I walked in. She was like that with all other customers very quick and just on operations no customer service at all.

Great location and great value

The location is wonderful, we love the beach, pools and boardwalk! The rooms themselves are aging, but new flooring has made a nice upgrade. The age maybe shows most in the bathrooms. We stayed for one night after our cruise vacation. The staff is busy (could use more than one at front desk) but friendly and helpful. Even grounds crew went out of their way to help. We have come back twice now because of the value we get for the location.

Location, price

The lady security guard in the breakfast area doesn't seem to realize that visitors enter there to eat and chill. I've observed her mistreating children many times. On my third attempt to enter the breakfast room with my daughter, she prevented me from doing so. Another guy at the same time just entered in agsin while I was waiting in front of the door. From that time on I never went to the breakfast. I’m so frustrated during my trip there. Rooms are not very clean but it’s okay compared to the price and the fact that the buildings are old

The room location was very good, just a block away from the lovely promenade and beach.

It wasn't clear where to check-in. The Seagull hotel seems to be a few rooms which share a reception area with other rooms in the area. So don't look for a Seagull reception sign. We were checked in politely, but other members of staff were very brusque, including at breakfast. Training is needed because a smile and pleasant good morning costs nothing. The room was not so easy to find. It seems that a small house has been converted in to four basic rooms. The room was clean but the bed was very soft. The accommodation was very basic and dated. The only reason to stay is that the location is great since it is close to the promenade.

The location was great for where we had to be for work. The bed was comfortable. It was like a small apartment.

In the bedroom there was a portable humidifier or air conditioner (really not sure what it was) with the large hose hanging out of the window. It is older and it shows.

I recommend the continental breakfast taken care of by Dana. She is always friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned by Sharon, and she made sure that we had everything we needed.

The location was close to everything

There was one person at the service desk, we waited 45 minutes to get checked in. The staff were rude and unwelcoming. The room was dirty, the air fresheners was so strong and nasty. The safe in the room did not work and even maintenance tried to fix it but he couldn’t. The bathroom was dirty. There were aunts in the room. The mattresses were so stiff and old, all three of us woke up with neck and back pain. I asked for more towels and they kept saying “I don’t understand” I waited 45 minutes to get towels to shower after being in the beach. We stayed at this place for the gym and location, we had no idea the gym has been out of order for a long time. We tried to cancel reservation and leave, but the staff refused and told us we will loose our money.

A decent place to stay. Who stays in their room on vacation?

Trying to find your room was like going on a scavenger hunt. The shower handle was broken. Taking a warm shower was a challenge at first until you figured out which way to wiggle it. It was very close to the beach and at the right price. They had a better breakfast setup than some of the higher priced hotels we stayed out. I was impressed.

It was very dirty. The courtyard was invaded by drug addicts. Very unsafe specially for a person with a child. I walked in the room and I left. Not even spent 30 minutes there. I know I wasn’t going to get refunded, not even for parking or $19 for the night that I didn’t stay. And I have still not gotten my deposit back.

On arrival we were told that it was sold out, even though we had booked a room. He gave us a key to go to another location, which we had to walk down an alley which had rocks and trash.The room had no dresser and the bathroom was disgusting. We found 3 live german roaches snd 2 more in the morning. We went back in the morning and advised about our room. We were moved to another room which was better than the last. The bathroom had no outlets to Plug in my curling iron and had to use a small handheld mirror to do my hair. The paperwork stated the room would be cleaned on the 3rd day, which it was not. Worst place to stay.

The proximity to the beach and boardwalk was great. Best part about the hotel. Bed was actually comfortable though.

The room smelled so strongly of disinfectant it gave me a headache. Fairly outdated. Booked Seagull and was put in Palms, room did not match the pictures of the booking.
