La Dolce Vita

Location was fabulous...it is 100 paces from three great restaurants in one direction and 200 paces from the marvelous municipal pool complex in the other direction. There are fantastic views from the second floor bedrooms and the third floor sitting area. A well equipped kitchen is located on the ground floor. Parking is on the street, but we never had a problem finding a space. Communicating with the the owner was easy and he was very responsive. He even printed our boarding passes for us and dropped them around on the last day!

A coded entry or lockbox rather than a key exchange would be better...then there would be no need to meet the owner to get the keys on arrival.

Great communication with the host after a number of flight challenges on our scheduled day of arrival. Host even picked up a bottle of wine and had it in the fridge for us after the chaos of our travels, amazing touch. The location is fantastic, close to cafe's, markets, restaurants, a local swimming hole and fantastic views. Nice central location without the noise of the city. A hour drive max in any direction and you are at one of the top things to see on the island. The only daunting thing for someone from North America, driving to the place on your first day might be stressful. Roads are narrow and lots of one way streets. By day 2, we got use to it, just a different way of life.

Some form of shade for the balcony, nice to sit out there at the end of the day, however, the sun was beating down on you.
