This apartment was so comfortable. It was the best night of sleep we got on our whole trip. The beds didn't look like anything special but boy were they comfy! I sleep on a hybrid coil and memory foam mattress with a pillow top at home and this mattress was just as comfortable. It even had an electric heated blanket as a flat sheet and the pillows were soft memory foam and so comfortable as well. The room had all the amenities you'd expect in Japan that make stays there really nice. The shower was a shower tub combo which is so nice because after so many long days of walking its great to be able to take a soak.

Check in could have been so much easier. We had to book an apartment last minute and it was late. Past business hours. The address was either incorrect or google maps got it wrong but it showed the wrong building so we had to walk up and down the street to find it by name. The confirmation email didn't include any self check in instructions so we had to figure out a way to call the customer service number in order to talk to someone and they had to give us a padlock code so that we could get the room key that was in the mailbox. All in all it probably took us an hour to get inside and it was freezing cold outside.
