Our family of five enjoyed a week of relaxation, swimming and boating interspersed with our three mountain hikes. The house was perfect for our needs; cooking, private spots for everyone and good sleep. Many thanks to our hosts who were generous and respectful.

This property has good potential, but it is an older cottage with much TLC needed. Wooden frame windows are very hard to open and close. The porch has a lovely view but there is a gap in the flooring and the railing needs work. The bathrooms and fixtures are old and show it - stains, faucets that don’t flow well, etc. The VRBO listing showed a dock, but that was out for repair. There is no shore access at the cottage. The DSL internet was out but that was fixed while we were there. The owner/manager was very responsive to that and a plumbing problem that also was fixed during our week. We advise taking the property off the market, investing in improvements, and then starting again with a much better match to expectations.
