Great experience

Very nice staff, clean room, good breakfast, nice area to jump into the water and chill.

It’s far from the town, so there are no many options for food, we only tried one restaurant around the area but it was pricy for the quality/food you get.

Stunning location, lovely room layout, traditional building. Lovely fresh bedding. Exceptionally friendly staff.

Fridge noisy in room. Not enough hot water for showers for family of 3 (due in room boiler) Breakfast was very limited. Short staffed. Dogs barking and fireworks overnight. Rusty toilet roll dispenser and footmarks on wall.

Rooms need to be bigger and needed a sea view. Too many stairs to climb. Vegetarian options were too less. There was no AC in one of our room.

Location! Quiet Waterfront with off-laneway parking. Comfortable bed, spacious rooms, very clean and friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. About 6km pleasant walk or bike-ride along waterfront into town and old town.

Room for some minor improvements like having a good kettle and working AC. We didn’t have a problem since the weather was comfy to stay without AC but I think in peak summer it will be needed.

A cozy small hotel with great views of the bay

A cozy small hotel in a beautifully renovated building. Below the busy street so it is quiet at the beach. The beach was large enough and had enough sun beds and umbrellas and it was nice enough to spend the whole day there. The hotel had a couple of bikes to borrow for free to cycle to Kotor (5 km). The room was nice and of good size and the inner yard also had some sun beds. The view from the breakfast terrace was amazing.

The lower floor rooms have no window and the breakfast was quite average. We wished the yard would have offered some shade so we could spend more time there on hot days.

Panorama, cleanliness and sea

Location is everything. Hotel Sara definitely has it! The manager is a very kind and helpful lady with 7 years of experience in tourism — she was keen on helping in all aspects of recommendations in the vicinity or around Budva. The sea is right in front of the hotel, free towels and sunbeds are provided. The panorama from the breakfast restaurant is amazing. Our room being on the ground floor did not have that, but was squeaky clean, with free water in the mini bar. Breakfast was very nice and of quality, despite the lack of a huge assortment of food one never really needs, one visiting bigger tourist hotels can be used to have. There are nice restaurants in a 10-30 min walking distance.

Parking can be tricky. 5 cars can easily fit, but 10 only in a Tetris-like fashion. You may need to collate other guests’ needs with yours, but the manager is keen on helping in this as well.

Everything about this hotel is fabulous. So cozy, private, clean and comfortable. The rooms are big, nicely furnished and proximity of the sea is amazing. The staff and services were great, the owner is fantastic host and very helpful. The place to go back to.
