About this house rental
Our Lake House is located in the picturesque Pocono Mountains. Whether you are looking to get away from the busy city life to come relax or you are looking for some outdoor adventures, you have come to the right place! Our home is surrounded by all the outdoor activities you may come to expect from the Pocono Mountains. There is something to do no matter the season, from water parks in summertime to ski slopes in winter and our home has all the amenities to make you feel like at your home. Enjoy BBQing on the spacious deck overlooking Lake Carobeth with your family or friends, lounging on a hammock and drinking some wine. You can take kayaks or a canoe out from private dock. In the winter keep worm by two fireplaces while playing pool or chess. You can visit indoor water parks: Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Aquatopia, H2Ooh-all within minutes from our house. You can go skiing at nearby Camelback, Blue Mountain Resort, or Jack Frost -Big Boulder Mountain. If you want to go gambling or dance, here is Mount Airy Casino. If you want a nice dinner out Desaki is a must or one of the restaurants at Mt Airy. You may also take a round of golf or go horseback riding.
If you like a bargain, you could spend the day at the Crossings Premium Outlets or go antiquing. If you are into hiking you may want to visit Bushkill Falls-the "Niagara Falls" of the Poconos. The famous Pocono Raceway is within reasonable distance. The community offers amenities for kids and adults.
You may cook at home as our kitchen is fully equipped, or go to one of the tons of fast food/chain restaurants: Chilli's, Red Robin, Olive Garden. You can go to enjoy other local restaurants: Desaki (Japanese), Bailey's Steak House, Pocono Brewery Pub, Smuggler's Cove (seafood) and many more.

This was an excellent stay! The host is great and made check in/checkout easy. The dock, kayaks, firepit, pool table, darts and foosball table gave the kids so much to do and we caught a ton of fish (perch, bass and various bluegill varieties!) The kitchen was perfect for making food for all of us and the multiple sitting areas was great for relaxing times. We do this type of trip often and this was one of our favorites and really was a great value considering the waterfront which was beautiful! Thanks for making this a memorable trip!

House was great and everything as advertised. Only negatives: not enough towels. Bath, hand & dish. Also better hot instruction need. Def. 5 star

Rent a house each year October weekend and this is one of the top choices. Clean, good beds, lots of room. Good showers and great BBQ grill. Lake was great for fishing from dock. Communication with Janine was great and helpful.

Our grandchildren had a great time fishing, the community was not one of the better ones we have stayed at. The owners were very accommodating.
