The hotel rooms are spacious, but it is a bit far from downtown. Normally, hotels outside the city are expected to be newer, very neat, and well-maintained, but this one felt just average. Amenities like a toothbrush kit are not provided, and the TV does not support YouTube or internet streaming. The lifts are very slow and take a long time. Breakfast is just okay. They charge 5 Lari per day for a charger adapter, which seems like a local setup. After staying here, we felt that even hotels in the city would be fine if you plan an early trip to Kazbegi to avoid traffic.

I had many issue of calling reception or guest service with no response. I had to bring my luggage down from floor 24 by myself waiting for the elevator to reach me empty as other elevator not working and the hotel fully occupied.
