We went on a family trip with our grown kids and grandchildren. We had a great time. The rooms were nice. The water was good. We had a couple issues. A stair to the upper deck broke out and the door handle kept falling off. The high chair was not useable. The pots and pans need to be replaced. We did talked to the owner.

This was the perfect place for a group of friends to get away! The cabin was beautiful as was the property. The kitchen was tight but it worked. Aside from watching the Buckeyes game, most of our time was spent on the deck or around the fire pit. Highly recommend this property to anyone who does not have mobility issues (lots of steps or walking uphill to back door).

Beautiful surroundings. Woods, fields, sky, fog, lighting shows. As we were about to pull in there were three deer. We saw so many deer(babies too) every day in the fields, along the edge of the woods, and right outside the cabin. We are a family of eleven and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out or spend time together. The AC worked great! We caught a bunch of Sunfish(Warmouth) at the pond using diced ham. The kiddos really enjoyed doing so. The cabin was really close to two nature preserves and we were able to check out Boch Hollow. If we had any questions Jereme responded quickly. He was super helpful. We would stay here again. Our family had an awesome time!

Our anniversary trip year 7. The cabin was ok. Could have been a little cleaner. Needs an update. The pond was covered with moss so couldnt fix. The hiking trails on property are overgrown so couldnt use them. To flush the toilets you had to hold down the handle the whole time. Was about a half hour away from any hiking. The view was breathtaking from the porch. The only tv that worked was downstairs. Had board games so the kids had things to do being we couldnt hike or fish the main reason we rented this cabin.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! There was so much to do, from adventures in the surrounding parks to exploring right on the property itself. We especially loved the peaceful seclusion—it felt like a true getaway—yet it was still just a short drive to town and nearby parks. The perfect balance of nature and convenience!

It was really nice and the view was great. Only complaints I have are the stairs and the water pressure. The stairs get very slippery and a few of us slipped and fell. There should be grip tape on them or something. If your using alot of water it will cut off. Besides that it was awesome and we would definitely stay again.

The power kept going out due to the strong winds I guess, the water kept cutting off due to a running broken toilet (broken when we arrived) because the water system is on a well pump. Food was wasted, because it couldn't keep cold. We attempted to cook most on the gas grill but then the propane tanks ran out . However It was a nice view and not too far from Walmart and other stores.

Lots of space with activities for 18 month old to 64 yr old grandparents Both indoor and outdoor.This property is very maintained and clean!! Enjoying the hot tub after a day of hiking at Hocking Hills was relaxing. We loved the view from the deck and relaxed on the back porch on the glider. Beds were comfortable! Jereme was very accommodating when asked if there was a crock pot on the premises he had a new one waiting when we arrived. All agreed that we would stay there again

Property was nice, clean. Rooms as described. Improvements needed, but totally enjoyable. Wildlife abounds, quiet, private. Some things are bare bones, others just great. Isolated location (pros/cons) so it’s a ways to get to anything. Basement not useable, pond is impossible to fish in as it’s overgrown and one small platform surrounded by weeds that snag. Outdoor furniture at pond not good. Nice viewing, peaceful deck good and furniture there is ok. Indoor very comfortable, everything worked fine. Small hot tub worked fine. Grill clean and quite useable. Didn’t find “welcome, property book” until day 3 - could have used from day 1. The owner was quite considerate and worked with us when we had to reschedule due to medical problems! We are very grateful. We enjoyed our stay and grandkids had a ball. We would definitely recommend this property as a great, comfortable and quiet get-away, reasonably priced.

This cabin exceeded every expectation that we could have possibly had while on vacation. The fishing pond was perfect for the kids while we sat by a fire and watched all of the wildlife come into the surrounding field. The size of the cabin was perfect for everyone to stay together yet still have privacy, especiallywhen you are travelingwith toddlers, young children, teenagers, and adults. I highly recommend this cabin.

This is a huge property and our kids had a great time. The cabin was gorgeous and immaculate. It’s easy to get to and the roads are nicely paved. Had everything we needed. Close to hocking hills, also easy to go to restaurants and Walmart in Logan.

Great house. Well stocked kitchen- I made an entire thanksgiving meal for six! Slow Wi-Fi was appreciated because it made the teenagers stay off their phones the whole time. Only wish we had was for a regular coffee maker- there was only a keureg and no pods, but we left a box of pods for the next guests!

Very clean home with a great view of forested hills. Property set back from road, surrounded on three sides by woods, giving a private feel. Close enough to town to not feel isolated. Did not use fire pit, but it is a short stroll up the driveway and wood is provided. Most Hocking Hills attractions are within a 30- minute picturesque drive. If children are with you, the cabin can sleep 12 but pretty closely. Would say it comfortably sleeps 10, using extra folding bed. Internet is a little slow, reflecting the property being off-grid. Great dining and living space, allowing for great conversation and games. Would definitely return.

Had an Awesome time at this place. Made some great memories. Fish was biting caught 3 small bass and a blue gill. It's about a half hour from the caves old man's and Ash and 15 minutes from Walmart. Also there's a nice wooden playground in Logan for the kiddos as well.

Our stay at Coyote Ridge was wonderful from the minute we walked in. The host had the cabin clean and filled with essentials like blankets, pillows, and towels. We loved the remoteness of the cabin as well, it allowed us to be ourselves without disturbing anybody. Only knock I would say is I wish the fire ring was a little closer to the cabin but overall it was a great stay!

This home is in a great location. We spent a lot of the time outside. We walked the trails and saw plenty of wildlife. The home had everything we needed and the owner was quick to respond to our questions. Plenty of stuff for the kids to enjoy, the hot tub was nice in the evenings and even though we didnt catch any fish, we still had fun trying! There were quite a few stink bugs in the house and we couldn't figure out how they were getting in, but that is to be expected around this time of year so it was not a big deal. Some of the appliances could be updated but everything worked fine (the "hot surface" light never went off after using the stove. Again, not a big deal but just an FYI). I think this is the perfect country getaway that everyone should enjoy!

Wife, our 2 boys and the dog had a blast being out in the middle of nowhere. Best part is the property for hiking, with all the recent rain the stream was flowing and kept everyone entertained. So hard to find places to stay near the Hocking trails that do not have people stacked on top of each other. We will definitely be back again! Host responded immediately to all questions.

My people had a great time. I will be going back. The pond was great! Fish were biting . The sleeping arrangements fell short, Wi-Fi sucked, couldn’t get the satalite to work upstairs!
