About this chalet rental

"High Mowings Farm" is a Swiss inspired ski chalet surrounded by acres of beautiful hay fields and full views of Mt. Mansfield and slopes from house. This luxury home in the heart of the Vermont Mountains is situated at the peak of a hill in the valley between Mt. Mansfield (Stowe), Smugglers Notch and Jay Peak. High Mowings Farm is located 9/10 of a mile from the mountain road between Jeffersonville and Smugglers Notch Ski Resort. We have a great kitchen with Viking Range, multiple dishwashers and huge granite island. The many bathrooms won't make you wait for a tub or shower. One bath room has the 'tea for two' tub which can be quite romantic or has been known to accommodate 3 or 4 little ones. This property is a great retreat in all seasons and any weather condition.

We stayed in this wonderful home for a week with 2 other couples. We had never been to Vermont and the trip was fantastic. The house was large enough for all of us, the large kitchen was fantastic to cook in, the microwave made the perfect popcorn, the fireplace was awesome, especially since we had some chilly nights. I highly recommend this property and would definitely book it if we visit again.

An amazing and private property with all the amenities for a big group of friends and family. Kitchen made for entertaining, plenty of beds, and a fun, relaxing atmosphere. The property is beautifully maintained with picturesque views of the VT mountains. Ollie was a great host and was very responsive to all of our questions. Would DEF visit again.

Great place to stay. Close to smuggs. Clean. Owner was lovely. Fire place and hot tub on point! If I come back to this part of Vermont I will stay here again!
