Loved the house, it worked perfectly for our family. The kitchen was amazingly equipped with anything needed to prepare nice food. The owner was wonderful about giving information about the area including info on dinning, equipment rentals, tv, spa, ski in and out, etc. For skiing, the mud room had plenty of space for skis and clothing. There was even a mid week house cleaning that was a pleasant surprise. Only issue was there wasn’t great snow so the ski out became a little more challenging. That said, it was just a short walk to another spot to enter on Adam’s Ave. Thanks John!!

This is a beautiful property and very accommodating for families. Plenty of room to be together to enjoy cooking family meals in the well appointed kitchen or taking in the wonderful views from the balcony. All bedrooms are en-suite and have luxury towels and soaps which was appreciated by our family. It’s a great location for summer or winter getaway. John is a nice and attentive host.

We stayed at the Bulter home in July 2024 and loved every minute of it. The host, John, was very communicative and easy to work with, and his home was clean and well-equipped. Every room had an en suite bathroom, and the furniture and beds were comfortable. We did some great hikes from the house, and walked to the Snowmass Village (during the day - would not recommend after dark)! The views from the porch were beautiful. We would love to stay here again!!

This house was absolutely perfect for our 2 families of 4. The kitchen was stocked, there were tons of linens and the hot tub was fantastic! The house is incredibly well maintained and John was the perfect host and available for anything we needed. The ski in was challenging was doable for the entire family, but the ski out is definitely for blue/black skiers. The good news is that Adams Avenue green run is a short 5 min walk and very easy to access. All in all, it was our favorite stay we have had in Snowmass! We will be back!

The Butler house was perfect for our stay. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped, the ski-in, ski-out location was easy to figure out, the living room with a roaring gas fireplace was great for our apres-ski gatherings, and Snowmass is a mountain with skiing for skiers of all abilities. When you factor in the accessibility to the Town of Aspen and all it has to offer, we couldn't have done better.

9 of us (4 Adults and 5 kids) stayed at the Butler House over New Years. This was one of the best rental homes we have stayed at. We skied everyday, the slopes were easily accessible down the private run or a short 5 minute walk to Adams Avenue for those that needed an easier way down. Skiing back to the house was so easy, and all of us could handle it, right off Green Cabin. We used the hot tub everyday, and access to Snowmass Village was easy with the taxi service. John was great and provided so much useful information (restaurants, transportation, etc.) All in all, a 5 star stay!

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful house. We were eight people, and we each had a great bedroom, and we all had our own large bathrooms. If you like to cook, there was nothing missing in that kitchen. Better equipped than my own at home. Many photos were taken on the balcony outside the living room.The views! Our host, John Butler was exceptional. Just a phone call or text away, and always so helpful and caring. We would come back to the Butler home!!

We could not have found a more perfect place for a week-long vacation in the mountains. We loved hanging out on the back deck watching the swallows fly about, even spotted a buck and a doe just beneath the deck. We hiked Maroon Bells, went white water rafting, spent some time in nearby Aspen, attended the Snowmass rodeo, took the Silver Queen gondola to the top of Aspen mountain and the Elk Camp gondola to Lost Forest. The home was well equipped from any kitchen utensil you would need, to hot tub, gas grill, board games. John Butler (host) was always available to answer questions and help whenever needed. I would have to say this was one of the BEST experiences we have ever had.

Ski in/out was incredible. Literally walk to the end of the driveway, strap on your skis/board, and you're at Snowmass Village lifts in under 20 minutes. The ski back trail is easy and super fun! The house itself is incredibly well equipped and the owner John is super thoughtful. We stayed for 10 days and can't wait to come back.

For starters, the property is beautiful and looks right over Snowmass Village. There was a total of 4 people in the house, but it can definitely hold more. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you will need. John was such a great host! Via phone, text or email; we spoke various times leading up to the trip. He provided me with so much information on the area. Any question that I had, it was answered within a matter of minutes. What a great time and experience at the Butler house. I will be back!

Our family of five serious skiers so enjoyed and appreciated all the wonderful Butler House had to offer us for seven days in early January. We cooked nightly in the well appointed kitchen/living spaces, watched movies and played games, and were able to easily access slopes in the am via a private run. Same goes for our return at end of day. Owner/Host John goes out of his way to make his guests comfortable. Top-notch experience.

My family of 5 and I stayed here for a month during the summer. We had the best time and the house was perfect. John was very responsive and took care of all of our needs and questions. The rental property management was also very helpful and responsive to any requests throughout our stay. The home is spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. The house was super nice, Bedroom layout and configuration are perfect for 4 couples or 2 small families or 1 big family. Hot tub worked great. Kitchen had everything you need and I mean everything! Fireplace was nice. The smart tv and dvd was very easy to use and worked well for us to watch movies.The ski in was super easy and fun as you ski along a very slow pitch to the end of the driveway along the other houses and thru the woods. The ski out was fine for intermediate but not good for beginners. However you can walk down the road a little ways to step out onto the trail and if your lucky like we were you can ski down the road to that trail. Would love to stay here again!

In addition to having four en suite bedrooms, the dining and living room are also roomy. The kitchen has every cooking need or wish (including a panini maker!) for two/three cooks to move around and prepare dinner for nine. But perhaps the two best elements of the house are the easy ski in-ski out and the large mud room. Very few places have a big enough mud/ski storage for a large group. This house does!

I’ve stayed in properties all over the world and this house is top of the list. The best compliment I can give is that my children said it was the best vacation they’ve ever been on (and they’ve been on quite a few) and that during our stay, we forgot we were in a rental (it felt so much like home). John was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were set on arrival and anything we needed to know while there. I can’t reccommend this property more positively if you’re looking for an epic ski vacation. You would be hard-pressed to find anything better anywhere. We really loved the entire experience and have no negative comments at all. Thanks John!

This was our second time staying in this great house. We've stayed in lots of condos and homes and this one is the best!! It's super clean, extremely well maintained and has beautiful views. It has a great floor plan. (Main level has LR, DR, kitchen and master bedroom. There is another master upstairs and two more bedrooms with ensuite baths downstairs.) The kitchen has every imaginable tool, lots of quality cookware and dishes and a gas range. The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms have large with walkin closets, the bathrooms are large and nice. There is a gas grill, hot tub and a huge laundry/mud room. The owner, John is very nice and helpful, and it's obvious that he puts a lot of effort into making his house a wonderful, welcoming place for visitors. I could not recommend this home more highly!!!!!

Our family rang in the New Year with my brother & his family at the Butler House. We couldn't have picked a more comfortable home to stay in. The radiant heat in the floors kept room temps so toasty we barely had to touch the thermostat. Each floor even had their own thermostat control. The large mud room had space, racks & benches for all our ski gear. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of skiing. The kitchen was stocked with far more than I've ever seen in a rental home & made cooking large meals terrifically easy. All the bedding & towels were plush and just what we'd want in our own home. Our group of 8 had plenty of space to spread out in the kitchen, living area & dining room. Ski out was tricky and not for novices, but several of us used the paths by the house. Ski in was definitely easier to access. The Snowmass shuttle came in handy a few times and was just $5 per ride. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - loved the owner, John Butler, his attention to detail, checking in with us and making sure we were well taken care of from beginning to end!

We have stayed in about 10 ski houses or condos over the years and this is by far the best place we've ever stayed. This house reflects a lot of thought, time and expense. It is a fantastic house for large families or multiple couples. It has 4 bedrooms on 3 different floors, one of which is on the main level with the living areas. The bedrooms are all large, with comfortable beds and lovely linens. The bathrooms are all a good size and nicely done. The kitchen is a good size and amazingly well appointed for a rental. The living room has comfortable and nice furniture and a dining room table that seats 8 comfortably. There is a large mud room/laundry room that has a large washer and dryer. The owner, John could not have been nicer or more accommodating. All in all, it's a fantastic house!
