Loved it! We stayed here for a week to work on writingprojects and I loved the topfloor bedroom, with the view of the mountains, the terrace and the cosy kitchen. The village is pretty, the house charming and the overall stay exactly what I wanted as a writingretreat. The owners are so nice and hospitable and I highly recommend staying here.
Not a dislike at all, but something to be aware of: the road up is very curvy, so best be comfortable with driving in the mountains.

great location overlooking the beautiful mountains from the terrace. Ten minutes drive from Bagni di Lucca. The house was well equipped with everything that you needed along with coffee / orange juice / water / (amazing fruit bowl selection) Maurizio the owner was beyond excellent. He welcomed us with bruschetta and Prosecco on arrival and even cooked for us on the last night. Nothing was too much trouble he really wanted us to have a comfortable stay.

Maurizio is fantastic, very friendly and hospitable person. Despite we arrived too late, he was still waiting for us with the delicious local vine and fruits. We started enjoying conversations with him from the very beginning. He gave us a lot of instructions about varios activities available in this area and was very helpful in every other case.
The apartment appeared to be a full house for our exclusive use, including kitchen and living area on the ground floor, two bedrooms on the middle floor, and third bedroom with the balcony and bathroom on the upper floor. House is located in the beautiful area on the hill and the balcony opens really spectacular view. Peace and quietness around the tiny middle-age village. If you ever dreamt about feeling the true spirit of Toscania, this is the place.
The only bathroom in the house is located on the upper floor, which was a bit inconvenient, because every one gets there through your bedroom. For shopping, we had also 10 min drive down to Bagni di Lucca every time, and the road goes serpentine. For us it was not a problem, but for some people it might be challenging, especially in the night.
