We stayed in Pignola for a couple of days while visiting family locally.
We specified our arrival time so that Fabio could be there to open the vehicular gate, which provides the only access to the house. We we got a single fob for this gate, along with one key to the apartment (I had enquired about getting two keys beforehand and Fabio explained this would not be practical)
Although we speak no Italian, Fabio was was very handy with his translation app so we had no problem communicating. He responded to queries very promptly, and was very helpful and welcoming.
The apartment was secure and private, with external shutters, insect screens and net curtains to all windows. There is outdoor seating in various locations around the property, including a terrace with a large parasol at the entrance.
The accommodation is very well-maintained, indoors and outdoors, and all essentials are provided. The bathroom and shower were particularly nice.
We have a sleep compatibility issue so my partner used the sofa bed for a while - he's 6ft tall and said it was comfortable.
The area around the property is very quiet and peaceful, and we had beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The village of Pignola is a 25 minute downhill walk away - the road is very windy and there is no footpath for most of it, but it's fine to walk in daylight, taking precautions to ensure approaching cars can see you.
Pignola village itself was very lively when we visited, and the older part was lovely to walk around.
I would happily recommend and return, both to Le Conifère and to Pignola.
It would have been nice for us to be able to access the property individually, rather that having to coordinate between us with one set of keys. However we were aware of this in advance and it was our choice to accept. For couples who stick together all the time this would not be an issue in any case.
Bed linen for the sofa bed would have been a bonus!
