It’s an ex-Russian military prison it’s not the Ritz! Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and there’s beer in the bar. Overnight security so it’s not just you and the ghosts. East access and as a guest you can park within the gates. Be aware check-in if from 4pm and you can’t access your room until the last tour is over at 7pm. You can join a tour for free which is well worth it. Food is basic but awesome. Hot coffee also good. Super clean sheets and towels.
It’s an ex-prison so it’s all about the atmosphere, the history and the silence.

Staying in an old prison is special. Not luxurious, but a great experience. Don’t expect a great bed, spacious rooms.

Special Athmosphere
They mark they beds like doubles but they are not. You have to leave before 9 am. Drunk guests are very loud even at night like they don't care about others who's already sleeping at 1:30 pm. But the staff don't calm them...
