I enjoyed the facilities, ie, the pool and bathroom facilities.
Bed was comfortable
Staff were helpful
Pool was nice

TV could be seen in photos, however when I arrived I was told it did not work and was only in the photos to ensure people did not book due to no TV

Lovely atmosphere, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hostess was very accommodating, arranged trips for us and transportation to our next destination.

Not the homestay experience we expected
Vu’s Homestay has a great central location and a nice pool. Our room was spacious, but the stay didn’t match what we expected — or what was advertised.
The room was listed as soundproof, but it definitely wasn’t. We could clearly hear loud music from the bar next door and everything happening in the neighbouring room. The restaurant had a large whiteboard menu but wasn’t serving food.
Staff were rarely present, and we didn’t feel particularly welcome — more like we were in the way. It felt like the owners might have been away. Overall, it didn’t align with the recent reviews we’d read or the usual warm homestay vibe.
If you need a pool and central location, it might work. But for us, it was a disappointing stay.
