About this cottage rental
Located in trendy and very popular Palmer Road the cottage is very quiet behind the main house and is fully equipped for self catering. Just down the road within 50 meters are coffee shops/restaurants, a bar, an organic butchers, and various arty shops. Not 5 minutes walk is a large supermarket for all your needs. The beach and its world famous Surfers Corner is some 150 meters away and there you will find many restaurants, coffee shops, bars and surf shops and surfing schools.
Also less than 10 minutes walk away is the lagoon with its bird life, flamingos, and fishing. A similar distance is the overlooking mountain for hikers and walkers. Cape Town itself is a 25 km drive. For tourists without cars the train station is close by and there are many Uber vehicles available at all hours.
Muizenberg itself has been a choice holiday and leisure destination for well over a century. The buildings in Palmer Road Road are mostly from the Victorian and Edwardian eras and the surrounding streets are similar in their lovely old ambience.
