About this villa rental
Casa delle Foglie ”, a new building, is located in San Giovanni la Punta a few kilometers from Catania. The proximity to the A18 allows you to easily reach Taormina, Syracuse and other places in Sicily. Etna can be reached in about 30 minutes, while going to the sea takes 10 to 20 minutes. Nearby you will find shopping centers, Portals and Le Zagare and a sports center with tennis courts, five-a-side football, beach volleyball and grest service in the summer. The 230 sqm structure is developed on 3 levels. On the ground floor there is a large entrance / living room with two double sofa beds, a bedroom with a double sofa bed and a large bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are three bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom with bathtub. Downstairs a large living room with kitchen, oven, fireplace, bathroom and laundry. The swimming pool with large solarium is equipped with sunbeds, deck chairs and umbrellas. At the back of the villa there is a large green area equipped with benches and tables.

Overall the stay was fine. The yard surrounding the property was well kept and manicured. Lots of room to roam and play. One bathroom was located in the basement while the bedrooms were on floor 1 and 2. A bit of an inconvenience to go down to the bathroom. The stairs leading to the basement should have a hand rail. They are just open to the room right now. We did not use the outdoor bbq but it looked to be a good one. The upstairs bathroom had a tub but we were asked to not use it as a tub since the drain was very slow. The kitchen was well equipped and comfortable and the dining area was also a great hang out area.
