Great location Comfortable Good food

Basic room but had everything you needed for a short stay, it was clean and great value. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Our stay was part of a cycling trip and we were able to store our bikes safely in the rear lock-up. Food on offer in the pub downstairs also great. Breakfast which was included in the stay was exceptional, all freshly made to order and our host made sure we were all satisfied and fed.

Original room booked was not available but staff did accommodate us in three other rooms which were fine. Could hear some noise from the pub downstairs in our room, but didn’t bother us. Shower took a while to get hot.

Lovely period property. Room was very spacious.. very nice breakfast.

Being charged £20 to have my small dog stay. The extortionate cost wasn’t put on the listing. I’ve been charged £10 at other places. The man who checked me in asked if this cost was ok? did I have a choice when I was already standing there waiting for my room key?! He was way over the top and spoke too fast not what I needed thanks! Someone calm on check in would have been nice! Also had a vegetarian breakfast which didn’t come with spinach as advertised, and as we get less items of food it would have been nice to have added scrambled tofu. Also the bar closed at 9pm. Had to go to the pub around the corner.
