Super clean, great view and sunset

The apartment was perfectly cleaned. It was cozy, comfortable and modern. We ran into the host on our way there and he told us the key was in the lock. Then a super nice lady came and offered us her homemade liqueurs. Everything was perfect. We were at 20min distance from Dubrovnik which was perfect. I might have seen the most beautiful sunset on this apartment’s balcony.

Maybe the water heater could be a bit bigger. The water got cold a bit too quickly during the bath.

Great Flat ! 20 Points !

one of the best accommodations I had from my way to Albania and back by motorbike! The hosts are very, very, friendly. They help you in every situation. The accommodation itself is very clean and has everything you need. A beautiful sea view, included. The landlady's father is one of the most handsome men in the area. He certainly understands this joke. I can recommend the flat unconditionally!

Relaxing Place with everything

the landlady and her parents are great people. They help you in every situation. If you want to relax in peace, this is the right place. Dubrovnik is right nearby. So it's an ideal starting point. All the beautiful beaches are also not far away. The flat is equipped with everything! It is very clean and has a wonderful terrace with a beautiful view.

For a relaxing and comfortable stay

As soon as you take the small road that will lead you to the place, you already feel good and relaxed, you go through breathtaking view on the sea and the Croatian Islands before reaching a beautiful and peaceful place. The apartment has everything we needed: comfortable bed, spacious living room, terrasse with a beautiful view on the mountain and the sea, a high quality bathroom, a washing machine, etc. we loved staying there for 2 nights and we would have stayed much longer if we didn’t have other plans to visit Croatia. On top of that, Nikolina and her mother are tue sweetest hosts !

great, I'll come again

I would give it a 10/10, but we had a small inconvenience because I asked if it was possible a late checkout, they told me that it was possible, but the day after the cleaning staff was rude and told me that I just have 10 minutes to leave the apartment. I had to explain that the person that handed over the apartment allowed me to make a late checkout... I guess it was an internal communication problem, but yeah it was a bit annoying. the rest was a perfect, beautiful apartment, nice view, nice location, super clean, all seems like new

Perfect for relaxing

Everything you need; peace and quiet, a very comfortable bed, great shower and a lovely warm welcome. The property is located in a secluded valley that runs down to Trsteno. As well as Svjetlana and Nikša, there are other family members around to help if needed. You are made to feel very welcome and part of the family. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with everything of high quality. The balcony is the perfect place to sunbathe, or watch some amazing sunsets.

You do need a car to be able to visit shops and restaurants. A bit of advice about the road. Navigating the turning from the main D8 road can be daunting at first, but if you always turn right when leaving, and use the mirror on the pole opposite to check for traffic you soon get used to it. When entering you cannot turn directly into the side road, so always use the small loop by the church. This way you come across the main road with visibility in both directions.

Most wonderful place

Very modern, clean and cosy apartments. The owner was very friendly and helped with more towels, directions to supermarkets and everything. The house is off the main road, very quiet and good for relaxing. To Dubrovnik it is around 30 minutes drive, so still good to reach. I would recommend it for everyone who enjoys silence and nature. It was all perfect.

Superb

Trsteno is a specific place with dramatic terrain. Centre of village is 100 meters about see level with the busy mainway to Dubrovnik. The most of accomodation is available only by foot. You have to leave your car on parking space. This place is away of others - 60 altitude meters higher, you can go there by car (it is difficult but you become inured for it). Walking way is much more better and it is only 5 minute from the centre. It is the most quiet place there. Appartment is new builded next of the old house of owners - parents of hosts. Trsteno is place with Genius loci (old villa with arboretum, old platanes in the centre ...) I recommend to spend here several days.

In Trsteno is only one small restaurant, no shops. The nearest is 7 km in Zaton (bakery 5 km in Orasac). It is the biggest hendicap if you dont have car. Appartment has only induction cooker with 2 hotplace, no owen - it is not for big cooking. So if you have a car and don´t need cook it is good choise because restaurant is only 5 minute of walk.

Very quiet location and well maintained new apartment. Our hosts were very friendly helpful.

The owner accompanied us to the property from centre of Trsteno (by the old Plane Tree).

The steep and narrow access road is at a very sharp angle from the main road and you have to turn on the side road on the left (i.e. on the opposite side if arriving from Dubrovnik) before you can align your vehicle correctly. However, there is a a much shorter footpath giving you easy access to the village, which only has one restaurant, but a pleasant harbour with plenty of space for sunbathing and swimming.

Calm and cozy apartment in a small village near to Dubrovnik

The view from the apartment is beautiful. It is quiet and the perfect place for lazy summer days in the nature or at the sea. The sea is about 20 minutes walk away. The location of the apartment could be dissuasive, but it can be easily reached by car, if you know how. In Trsteno there is a bus that takes you to Dubrovnik for 16 kuna in 30 minutes. Trsteno's Arboretum - the oldest arboretum in this part of the world - is rich in nature. There is a sweet restaurant in the village, but no supermarkets. The hosts were very helpful and courteous. After a few days the towels and bedding were changed. We recommend the apartment to others, but would definitely take a car next time!

Überwältigend, top Lage

die Unterkunft hat uns so überwältigt, es war so so schön. Sauber, hell und modern. Die Gastgeberin hat uns einen leckeren Likör serviert und war sehr freundlich, die Lage ist so schön ruhig man hat einen schönen Blick für Sonnenuntergänge. Es ist alles so gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet auch die Größe ist herrlich. Ich werde die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Es war sehr sauber, ruhig und bequem.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben in dieser Unterkunft übernachtet. Der Empfang war freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Da wir spät dran waren, haben wir von unterwegs die Unterkunft kontaktiert und unsere Verspätung bzgl. Check-In gemeldet. Das war überhaupt kein Problem. Das Apartment ist etwas abgelegen. Das ist sehr vorteilhaft, wenn man seine Ruhe haben will. Es war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Die Betten und das Sofa waren sehr bequem und das Apartment sehr neuwertig. Das Badezimmer war auch sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Eine Oase, Entspannung pur.

Die Wohnung liegt einfach fantastisch auf einem Berg, Natur pur! Es ist alles sehr sauber, sehr gute Ausstattung. Gastgeber spricht Englisch sehr gut, somit war die Kommunikation sehr einfach. Die Familie war extrem nett. Die Mama hat uns frische Eier geschenkt und ein Mal brachte sie uns ein Gebäck sehr lecker. Es war alles perfekt! Das Arboretum, das "Freibad" und ein malerischer kleiner Hafen erreicht man zu Fuß.

Trsteno ist ein hübsches Dorf. Es hat jedoch kein Restaurant, Bar oder Café. EIn Mini Market hilft ein bisschen, sofern man in der Wohnung kleine Mahlzeiten vorbereiten kann.
