Mountain View Chalet

We had a wonderful time at Mountain Chalet! The pictures they post don't do it justice, it is truly a beautiful home and site. The view from the window and deck was gorgeous. It faces south, so you get the colors of the sunrise and sunset. The drive up the road was easy for us flat-landers with a minivan full of family and luggage. The kitchen is spacious and drawers and cabinets are labeled to find what you need quickly and easily. It had pretty much everything we needed to cook, including measuring cups, pots and pans, a strainer, decent knives for preparing ingredients, and plenty of dishes/ silverware. The bedrooms are roomy and the beds are comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to see the "pull out" in the loft was actually a full bed - much more comfortable for our son. The owners have been making upgrades in the time between our booking and our stay. The owners are prompt and courteous in their replies to questions. They have a binder with check-out directions and other useful info for making your stay go smoothly. There are maps and brochures next to the front door so you can plan your outings or learn about local spots you may not have been aware of. We would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a place to relax and/or visit Yosemite and surrounding sites. The Arch Rock entrance is about 40 mins away, and the South Entrance is a little more than an hour away, making it a great spot as a base for our explorations.

Secluded property with awesome views and amenities. Host was amazing with responses and very flexible with our booking. Overall loved the property and would highly recommend.

Loved our stay at the Mountain View Chalet! Had a very relaxing time- from the cozy beds to the beautiful mountain views sitting on the deck. Would highly recommend for someone visiting Yosemite!
