Are you looking for a place to host a large group, family reunion, a group golfing weekend, or a small wedding? Welcome to The Compound! This one of a kind property consists of three cottages that are a short 1500' from scenic beaches of St. Simons Island and steps to restaurants and shopping. The Compound is situated on over an acre which features 10 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, accommodations up to 24 people, a shared 800 square foot swimming pool (not a heated pool in cooler months), 24 palm trees, lush tropical vegetation, regulation sand volleyball / badminton court, a children's playground and so much more!
The three cottages consist of the Seaglass Cottage, the Sea Turtle Cottage and the Mermaid Cottage. Each cottage features a fun beach themed décor, updated kitchens and bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, flat panel cable TV's in all living rooms and bedrooms, Wi-Fi, Hulu Live TV on all TVs through out the house in the place of traditional cable, large screened in porches, multiple barbeque grills, linens (sheets and bath towels). Located on over an acre, there is plenty of open yard space for your group to entertain and play. Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants. Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc. are not permitted.

Just loved the compound! We had a great time in the pool which was very clean. The gates to the pool were a little wonky but overall very nice. Each house was charming and decorated nicely. The location was great, lots of eateries within walking distance as well as the beach.

We all had an amazing time in the pool, walking to the beach, eating sometimes in restaurants just down the block. The kids also enjoyed fishing off the pier by the lighthouse and a strip of great little gift shops. We were sad to leave. St. Simon’s is a quaint lovely little island.

We had 16 adults and 2 children with us at the Compound. It accommodated us all very nicely and the pool, volleyball court and screened porches were great. Unfortunately we were there as Hurricane Debby came thru so that limited our outdoor activity for 3 days.

Although we enjoyed our stay. We were not pleased with the beds. They were well past the time to replace. One of the master bedrooms was not able to sleep because of broken bed. Also the bathroom was not usable. No hot water in shower. No water bathroom sink. Toilet not flushing. The HVAC in main house could use work. No heat in common areas and so hot in bedrooms you couldn't stay.
