Welcome to Stump Pass Place Resort on Manasota Key. Come as you are, kick off your shoes, and immerse yourself into this little tropical Paradise. Located on the southern tip of Manasota Key, we enjoy offering large family's and groups a wonderful value added vacation and a great guest experience as well.
At our resort you will feel right at home the minute you arrive. From lush tropical landscaping to a spotless accommodation, we like to think we've thought of everything to make your stay both memorable and enjoyable.
Wedding parties, reunions, celebrations, large groups, this place is for you! We come recommended by the locals and are a great spot for any occasion! With a unique location and unmatched amenities, this property offers everything for your specific style of vacation. Enjoy the 7 separate suites all encompassed within one large home and a separate Pool House. Here, we offer our guests a combined twelve bedrooms, eight baths, seven kitchens, seven living rooms, multiple spacious balconies, private paver patios, commercial grade outdoor furniture, seven Weber grills, and soft night lighting among lush tropical landscaping.
Our guests can enjoy time spent together and still have the ability to retire to individual suites in complete privacy at any time. If having the whole family or group around the dinner table is important, we have you covered! Enjoy our large gathering room for meals, board games, watching the game on a 65 inch large screen HD TV and more! This stand alone room is perfect for the whole family to get together.
NO ferries or water taxi needed. Just drive over the bridge to our island and enjoy your freedom and spontaneity.
Just a 3 minute walk to our deeded beach path or a 4 minute walk into Stump Pass State Park to launch the kayaks and Sups. Included in your stay, you will find beach cruiser bikes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, sand toys, coolers, shell cleaning stations, four enclosed outdoor showers with hot water and so much more! With a unique location and unmatched amenities, we have everything you need for a perfect vacation!
Manasota Key has one of the most beautiful pristine beaches in all of Florida! The wildlife here is amazing! You will see pelicans diving for fish, osprey in tree tops, and herons on the beach. Dolphins and manatee are always swimming the shoreline and sea turtles choose this paradise to lay their eggs. Also, make sure to look down in the sand for some prehistoric shark teeth and beautiful shells. They're not hard to find and are abundant on our beaches. Go shelling then return home to rinse your souvenirs in one of our custom made Shell Cleaning Stations. If you prefer an outdoor shower you will love ours! Not your standard shower head and pull chain here, these private enclosed outdoor showers boast blue sky views and hot and cold running water with single action controls. You will never want to shower inside again!

Our stay was amazing! We had 12 family members ranging from 15 to 82, and everyone loved the property. Proximity to the beach for shelling and shark tooth hunting is perfect. The gathering space with games and grills all around made for a fun cookout night. Suites are super clean and Peter, our host, is a great communicator and super helpful. The bikes, kayaks, chairs and shell cleaning stations kept everyone happy. Highly recommend the outdoor showers, even when the weather gets a little chilly. We hope to come back again!

We had 8 adults and 10 kids and everyone loved this place. Comfortable old Florida style with large gathering place in converted garage. Everything worked and this place is 3 minutes from the beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Great beach with awesome shelling!

This property had almost everything you could imagine for the house, the bay, and the beach for all 23 of us! We rented the 5 Suites and each well-appointed unit ended up fitting the needs of all our families! Each unit was well stocked with kitchen and bath supplies including tumblers, blenders, and toasters! There were plenty of towels and linens for all! Clean and convenient! We would highly recommend for any large group of family and friends!

We had a great time although there was Red Tide occurring at the beach so we didn’t get to lay out there like we’d hoped. The bikes and kayaks were awesome and we used them every day, the bars and restaurants fun and had good food. Karaoke nights (Sun/Wed) at the White Elephant were a blast!! We took our boats out daily to nearby islands and went to Punta Gorda for a “Paint with a Twist” night. We took walks on the beach where we discovered lots of sharks teeth and actually one perfect cowrie shell...Our party of 20 rented the entire place for our reunion and it really was awesome. A private pool would make it absolutely perfect but I can’t think of what feature to remove for a pool to fit so I guess they just need to buy the property next door for that . If we come back to this part of Florida in the future we would absolutely consider staying here again and I highly recommend it . The owners are very nice and have created a wonderful beach retreat - thank you!!!
