In Southern California, we mostly dine in our backyard because we almost never see a BUG.

Owner was super responsive. Thr pool was nice as well as the spa. Well maintained with instructions on how to operate. Owner even let me check out an hour later. The only thing I did not like was the home had an elderly person scent. Other than that, it would have been 5stars.

The location was great for visiting our family and for downtown Orange. The host was very quick to respond and was excellent. However, the property is tired and was not very clean, particularly the kitchen which had cobwebs hanging from the top units, the unit doors were dirty and so was the oven. The outside space was great but the outside kitchen was in poor condition. The property requires some tlc.

Everything was as advertised. Clean, good storage, good kitchen with supplies. When we asked for a couple of things, they were delivered the next day. Well located to everything. We would suggest railings for the spa and pool for safer access...but then we're older. The trundle bed would be OK for kids but so much for adults. We'll be going back. We stayed for a month to get out of the desert heat - it was fantastic. Yes, it was in the path of JWA but we got used to it. The owner is wonderful.

Our 8 yr old grandson loved the pool. Good location. It was close to major attractions. Beds were comfortable. We cooked daily, but not enough glassware or teaspoons. And only one fry pan. There were no beach towels as stated. Could use a railing to get in and out of pool and spa. Also one for front door. A lot of unused, personal items that should be cleaned out. Bag of meds in bathroom vanity. Backyard had a lot of debris in corners. Could use some TLC.

Location of the property was really good. Only 15 minutes to Disneyland. House was spacious. Only use the spa one time. My granddaughter said it was super nice

Pros: the house is located within a short drive to beaches and Disney and the spa and pool are clean and inviting (though it must be noted that the house is directly below the landing pattern for the nearby airport). The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies and the owner was relatively easy to contact and was accommodating when we needed to make a last minute date change. Cons: The beds, furniture and bedding are dated and not terribly comfortable. There was a large cockroach in the bathroom on arrival. There are outdoor cameras installed in the backyard that appeared to be coming on/recording periodically when we were sitting around on the patio furniture in the evening. This was especially strange and for this reason we checked out a day early. While we understood the owner had every right to have outdoor surveillance, it felt like an invasion of privacy in a place that was supposed to be a home away from home. Overall, we would probably not choose this VRBO again, though the value was good.

The owner was excellent and very quick to respond to messages. The home was perfect for my family. We were there for a Disney vacation. The home truly is 12-15 minutes from Disney. Traffic was always in the opposite direction we were going. The home itself is a little dated. Don't expect to walk into a luxury, updated and modern home. It appears to be well loved and used. Could it use an interior paint job, yes. But that is no reason not to stay here. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The TVs are large. The pool was perfect. We paid to have it heated so that our 4 year old granddaughter could enjoy it without freezing. She loved the pool. We loved the spa. The outside furniture needs new cushions. Again, not a reason to pass by this home. My entire group said they would stay again. It felt like we were staying at one of our homes. If you're looking for a comfortable home, this is it.

We stayed here for 4 nights for a family wedding in Orange. The house was perfect for our size group. Quiet neighborhood, easy parking in the driveway. Washer and dryer worked great, as did the refrigerator with ice maker. There were coffee filters for the drip coffee maker, which was very nice. We especially loved the backyard - pool, hot tub, dining table and chairs. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good location and a responsive host!

This was a great little spot for our family of six to relax during our California trip. The house itself has just what you need to enjoy nice meals and lounge after long days at amusement parks. The backyard is stunning, and we spent many hours in the pool/hot tub. It is nested in a nice quiet and clean neighbourhood that is close to grocery stores and various shops.

We stayed in Doanh’s place for 4 nights and absolutely loved it! There were 4 adults and 2 kids and there was enough space for us all to be comfortable and we had everything we needed. The house is in a quiet neighborhood yet close to anything and everything! Check in was a breeze and a quick trip from John Wayne airport. The kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed the hot tub in the relaxing, beautiful back yard. This house was exactly what we wanted and Doanh was very accommodating and quick to respond. The fees associated with the pool heating were communicated clearly up front and are common in all rentals in California. My kids were sad to leave this morning! I would 100% recommend booking this stay for your family! Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!!!

This is a clean, spacious property with plenty of room to hang out between visits to the area. All the kitchen amenities are available and the washing machine and dryer will keep you with fresh clothes. Great pool and hot tub in a well manicured backyard. No neighbor noise at all. If you are a light sleeper, planes do fly fairly fair above the property on their way to John Wayne airport so this could bother you. No problem for us but they are there. We enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 5 stayed at this property for one week while we visited Disneyland. The drive to Disneyland was as listed - about 15 minutes. The surrounding area has a lot of shopping options for grocery and some restaurants. The evenings and nights were quiet - nice neighborhood. Check in was smooth and easy. The property owner was extremely responsive before and during our stay when we had questions. The beds were not bad, the kitchen was well stocked with anything needed to cook and having 2 full bathrooms was nice. We paid for the pool heating and spa use - this made the trip even more fun for our young kids! We used the outdoor grill, which was nice to supervise the children while cooking. There is plenty of backyard lighting which made some evening use of the pool possible. We had to restock some paper products and dishwasher supplies but the stores were close and convenient to get to. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would return again.

The property is in a great location with access to great shopping, touristy things, and awesome food all around. Centrally located, it felt like we were less than and hour from everything. The place was immaculate, and had everything you needed. It felt just like we were at home. When returning, I will always check this property’s availability first.

My husband and I stayed in the house for a week. Pros: Great location, good neighborhood, Clean and comfortable. Lots of outdoor space. Good communication with owner. Plenty of parking. Cons: When we arrived at the house the thermostat was set at 76 degrees. The owner controls the temperature of the house. We had to ask him to lower the temperature. He lowered it to 72 degrees. My husband and I have our home at 70 degrees. When we requested 70 degree temperature, the owner reluctantly lowered it to 70 degrees and said there maybe an extra charge. He has the thermostat on a timer. So if you are out and about on a warm day. You will not come back to a cool house. Renting this home in the warm summer months may be a challenge so make sure you have clarity from the owner about the temperature. Also we paid an extra amount of money for the pool to be heated. The owner controls that as well He allows the pool to be heated for a short time in the morning hours to save money. So the pool did not get very warm for us. It stayed at a steady 74 degrees. The extra charge for the heated pool is a waste of money. Also the owner only allows the hot tub 97 degrees. Said his insurance requires that so be beware of that as well if you are looking for a home with a hot tub. The TV setup is not very good. It was easy to get the over the air channels, but we had trouble getting the cable channels. The home doesn't have a well known cable or satellite provider.

Great location in a good neighborhood. Unfortunately the pool heater was not working and needed repair, so we could not enjoy the pool or hot tub. However, I understand that can happen and certainly no fault of property manager because she arranged repair as soon as she could.
