Great for a short stay

We enjoyed the location of this guesthouse in the Marais. It was close to wonderful shopping, food while maintaining a quiet setting. The hosts were accommodating with our arrival and departure and in providing tips in the local area.

The room is very small and had trouble fitting our two suitcases comfortably. We also had difficulty navigating the heating in the room. It gets very warm and you need to crack the window at night for ventilation despite the fact that it is winter.

It was wonderful.

Our stay at Catherine’s apartment was excellent! The location was perfect – close to everything and very convenient. The apartment was clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed and even more. Catherine was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She took care of everything and even sent us great recommendations before we arrived. We were celebrating a birthday, and Catherine surprised us with decorations and a gift from her, which was truly special and very touching – completely above and beyond. The facilities in the apartment were perfect: hot water in the shower, heating, an iron, an extremely comfortable bed, and even umbrellas for rainy days. We would definitely come back and stay at Catherine’s apartment again. Highly recommended!

Catherine and Zahra made our trip feel like home, super helpful, super accommodating, and it was like staying in our own Parisian home. The location is amazing and the room had everything we needed.

Idea, beautiful and cozy room in a fantastic neighborhood!

Location is ideal--the Marais is a wonderful neighborhood for museums, shopping, resturants, transportation--and walking. Our room was ideal. And the staff-Catherine, who is a whiz at all things was kind and and attentive and SO helpful. She answered all questions, gave suggestions, even leftbus a box of chocolate for our 40th anniversary.

The bathroom is not ideal for people with mobility issues..it's up a short flight of stairs and could be challenging.

The place was super Clean and very convenient. The best place in the Marais. It's in a beautiful building, everything was more than I expected, they thought of everything a place may need. They have a guess area for the guests to hang out do laundry and drink tea or coffee. I was very impressed with Pavillon Le Marais. Will definitely go back.

The best thing that came with the property is Catherine the manager. She's very involved, quick response and will help for any informations you may need. Zara the housekeeper was simply amazing, I fallen in love with the place and the people, it was like a family. I don't see any other place I want to stay in Paris besides Pavilion Le Marais, can't wait to be there again. Thank you Ladies for a wonderful stay!

Fabulous location. Kind staff

Location was fabulous, literally a few second walk from one of the main roads of the Marais. Room was lovely. Staff were friendly and keen to do whatever they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Not a big deal but the room was right on the street, albeit not a main one. This did mean that street noise woke us early in the mornings. Two of the rooms don’t face straight onto the street so they may well be quieter.

All in all the location won the day !

The location was excellent and Catherine and Zahra were very helpful. The only downsides were the room size and sharing the common room which was between our space which was between our 2 rooms with others in your other apartments.

I enjoyed my stay so much! I would definitely stay at Pavillon Marais if I have an opportunity to visit Paris again.

The location was great! We were able to walk to many of the landmarks we wanted to see. For those a bit further away, it was easy to use the metro or an Uber. Our room at Pavillon Marais had everything we might need and it was very comfortable and clean. Catherine was wonderful and very helpful. She went out of her way to be sure we had everything we needed, even bringing me tea and honey for a cough. The common area was fully supplied with a refrigerator stocked with bottled water, a dishwasher, a microwave, dishes, silverware, treats, and most importantly, a coffeemaker!

The lighting in the bathroom was mounted high on the ceiling, which made applying makeup difficult. Lights placed beside the mirrors would be helpful.

Amazing property and amazing staff

Property was clean, secure and in a great location, close to everything!!! Catherine is very friendly and welcoming, she gave us a ton of recommendations and guidance. Very caring staff including Zara who is also very sweet. Overall amazing experience, will book again when I visit Paris again in the summer!

Lovely apartment, good location, friendly hosts

Excellent location, lovely part of Paris, supermarket nearby, good access to the city centre. Comfortable bed, spacious living room with high ceiling, air conditioning good kitchenette with various facilities. Lots of towels and other facilities. Coffee, tea and bottled water provided. Catherine and Zoe very helpful and great communication - lots of tips and advice provided, much appreciated. Overall, a great place to stay for access to the city centre and nearby museums, restaurants etc.

The bathroom is small because of the way the apartment has been subdivided. It's fine for a shorter stay. With the windows open it can be a little noisy with the small school nearby, but is quiet during the evening and nightime.

Beautiful accommodation in the heart of Paris

The room was spacious, top end and exceeded all of our expectations. The accomodation is in an excellent area of Paris with beautiful cafes and restaurants on every corner. All of the highlights of Paris are easily accessible from the accomodation. Catherine our host was truly excellent!

Feel just a little bit like a local staying here - a gem hidden behind and old wooden door.

Catherine manages these little apartments, and she is delightful and so keen to help and make sure a stay at Pavillon Marais is memorable. Catherine is lovely and can provide lots of practical advice and information about the local area and getting out and about. Whether a boutique or other store, or sights and restaurants and food stores, Catherine can help. The apartment we had was compact yet pefect for such a great location in the 3rd arrondisement. Wonderfully clean and quiet, and decorated as befitting a little oasis behind a big, old wooden gate and door on a cobbled Parisian street. The separate sitting room for the use of all guests, including basic cooking facilities and a combined washer/dryer, mean this apartment is perfect for a Paris stay. A Coffee machine in the room - and a little fridge - as well as complimentary snacks and sparkling water in the shared space, help give this accommodation a superb rating in our view. Sadly we only had three nights - we would have happily stayed for much longer.

Location is amazing, off a quiet street in the Marais. Catherine was so helpful and kind - sent many recommendations beforehand and was there to greet me on arrival. Room was perfect for solo traveler and the space was beautiful and clean.

Wonderful

The location was fantastic. Central Marais and close to all the amenities, restaurants and museums and the Seine, Notre Dame we walked to in 15 minutes. Catherine was wonderful and recommended restaurants in advance of our arrival and was so helpful and always available. We will 100% be back when staying in Paris!! Thanks so much! Wonderful stay

We did not have breakfast but we LOVED that unlimited coffee pods and water which was made available. The shared kitchen was great although we did not take full advantage.

Splendid stay at Pavillon Marais

Great location. Very close to several attractions. A short walk away from the metro station (St. Paul), which then can connect you to the rest of the city. The manager Zoe was very helpful and gave us helpful hints. Since it is a guest house, the place does not offer breakfast. However, there is a store next doors where you can buy any provisions you need. And there is a kitchen at your disposal to make one for yourself. The lack of a breakfast option is unfortunate, as it will enhance the place considerably.

A quality property in the heart of the Marais

Really fabulous location in the heart of the Marais, the typical Parisian apartment was nicely presented with high ceilings and a sunny aspect. Quality bedding and linens were a welcome feature. Kitchen and bathroom are compact but functional. Communication from Catherine, especially a range of restaurant and local sights recommendations were extremely comprehensive and appreciated.

Stairs to bathroom are narrow and awkward, especially at night.

Perfect location, great host, and beautiful space!

The location was perfect on a quieter street in the heart of Le Marais and next door to a grocery store. The host Catherine was so kind and helpful and the decor had a nice Parisian ambiance. The kitchen was small but well equipped, and we appreciated the espresso machine. Heads up that there was a short narrow staircase to get to the bathroom.

The duvet was too warm for the weather.

This was a gorgeous apartment in a perfect central location on a quiet street. The host was lovely and beyond helpful. She called around and found a place for us to get our phone fixed. Very welcoming, beautiful area, and very accommodating . Concierge service. Much better than a hotel. What else could you ask for? 10 out of 10.
