We absolutely loved our stay here. The place is beautiful, all stone, with large windows opening onto the mountains. It feels calm, warm, and very well thought out.
From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. There was a carafe of red wine waiting on the table, a plate of Christmas cookies, and even a Greek spirit in the fridge. Little touches like that make a big difference.
The apartment was decorated for the holidays and it was really lovely. Inside, it’s spread over two floors, with two large, bright rooms. Everything felt comfortable and cozy, especially the beds.
The next morning, the host surprised us with small spinach pies, which was such a kind gesture. This is the kind of place where you instantly feel at home.
As a bonus, the house cat, Julia, slipped into our unit and kept us company for the evening. Cuddling a cat definitely added to the experience.
Honestly, we have nothing negative to say. If we had known how good it would be, we would have stayed longer.

Cosy, comfortable with modern facilities and traditional features … everything we needed for our week’s stay.
Quiet mountain location with lots of good hiking routes nearby (we took a taxi to the Irini Gorge trail head and walked back to the apartment, also did the walk from Sougia to Lissos then back by boat).
Enjoying breakfast on the sunny terrace, and starlit drinks on the upper balcony. (We had apartment number 4)
Good location for day trips to other attractions in the region (with a hire car).
Tavernas and supermarkets a short drive away.
Difficult to find when arriving in the dark - a sign post indicating the driveway would be helpful.

The owner is extremely helpful and generous. The location is off the beaten path with a fabulous view, but also close enough to the beach and trekking sites that you can easily enjoy those as well.
