A pleasant stay in a lovely town in Burgundy.

Hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Secure bicycle storage provided. A good location close to all the sites and services. A very reasonable price.

Only one shared toilet for all guests. Luckily there were only a few guests. Shared kitchen was too cluttered, needs some improvement.

We arrived late at night, the host and spouse were waiting for us outside to greet us. Very friendly. The host doubles as portrait painter and has placed a lot of religious/fun goodies throughout the house. Very quiet place near the city center and its beautiful churches and chapels.

Une excellente adresse pour se ressourcer à Paray-le-Monial

C'est notre troisième séjour dans ces lieux, du fait de la situation géographique de Paray-le-Monial par rapport à notre itinéraire de retour vers l'Allemagne. L'emplacement est idéal aussi bien par rapport au centre-ville que pour le déchargement de quelques bagages. Et nous apprécions beaucoup l'amabilité et la gentillesse des propriétaires des lieux. Mon fils a par ailleurs fait "ami-ami" avec le chat de la maison ! Enfin, le rapport qualité/prix est imbattable.

Le gite est parfait tel qu'il est ! Aussi bien pour des voyageurs de passage comme nous, que pour des pèlerins en quête de spiritualité et d'art roman.

Günstige zentrale Unterkunft, gut ausgestattet, aber mit großen Schwächen bei der Hygiene

Das Haus ist nur wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum und von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt. Vor bzw. neben der Unterkunft kann man kostenlos parken, auch längerfristig. Das Zimmer und seine Küche sind gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis angemessen. Das sog. "Eigene Badezimmer" besteht aus einer (eigenen) Toilette auf dem Flur nebenan, einer Dusche im Wohnraum und einer dortigen Küchenspüle, die zugleich als Waschbecken dienen muss. Sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber mit Blick auf den günstigen Preis akzeptabel.

Die "kostenlosen Pflegeprodukte" fehlten. Stattdessen in der Duschkabine wie bei der Spüle und dem Handwaschbecken der Toilette jeweils ein uralter Topfreiniger-Schwamm. Vor allem aber ist die Toilette seit mindestens einem vorangegangenen Gast nicht gereinigt worden - und wurde mir wissentlich so übergeben. Gut sichtbar (auch für die Gastgeber!) wies die Klobrille oben und v. a. auf der Unterseite viele Flecken und Spritzer in Braun und Gelb auf.

Gute und freundliche Adresse mit perfekter Lage

Die Zimmer waren sauber und wir hatten zum Glück auch ein Waschbecken. Unser Sohn hatte im 3-Bett-Zimmer leider kein Waschbecken. Das Ehepaar war ausgesprochen freundlich, sie haben uns angeboten, in ihrer Küche das vorgekochte Abendessen warm zu machen. Wir durften sogar in ihrem großen Esszimmer sitzen. Das war wirklich super, denn die eigentliche Gästeküche war bereits belegt. Sehr sehr freundlich!

Überhaupt nicht gefallen hat uns, dass es nur eine Toilette für alle Zimmer gab. Aber es hat sich dann doch erstaunlicherweise geregelt, da wir sehr früh aufgestanden sind und die anderen Gäste noch geschlafen haben. Also doch kein großes Problem!😉
